Alright I have worked with many developers and
@BlogPro is straight up magic.
1. Yesterday my partner sent him an email detailing 11 issues we have on a system we have that provides a software for a very niche market.
2. Two hours later he sends a very detailed technical response that basically tells us what could possibly be wrong and requests access to our code which we immediately provide.
3. Once again two hours later, he says he has made the necessary changes and wants our permission to push the updates to github. We're kind of in shock and of course grant him the permission since we don't have live users on this server because the system has been barely usable for our test accounts only.
4. Updates are pushed. We use NorthFlank so it pulls everything to our server and deploys the updates .
5. Changes are immediately visible.
- Login now works almost instantly (it took over a minute before).
- Dashboard loads instantly (it showed blank for 30-40 seconds before data loaded)
- All other issues are fixed completely
- Our VA are running tests and things are working flawlessly so far.
- We had our VA create 100+ accounts to mimic customers and login concurrently and the system didn't blink once
6. Blogpro then submitted a detailed RCA
He explained what was wrong. He explained what libraries were unnecessary. He updated all npm libraries so old ones with vulnerability are gone. He fixed how system interacted with myql. He made about 14 fixes. He took care of all 11 problems me and my partner had experienced and then made 3 more on his own that we didn't even know.
Needless to say we are extremely happy with this experience.
And what's more is he refused payment for this. Says it took him less than an hour to make the fixes because most of them were common pitfalls of such projects. And since this is our introductory project it's not charged.
We are extremely grateful for this and will absolutely be taking his services all throughout moving forward.
