i used the backlink checker add on, it found 30,000 backlinks for the site i am analyzing but it only will show me 1,000 of them.

Quite simply...you can't.

One of the best ways to get more of a sites backlinks to steal as your own, is to do a site:domainyouwanttosteallinksfrom.com query and scrape every indexed page of their site.

Then use the backlink checker addon to check all the backlinks they have to every page of their site.

This is because there isn't a tool out there on the internet that will show you more than 1k backlinks for a site.

Majestic SEO will give you all but you have to pay for it.
Here is what i do that will sometimes give you more then 1,000 results in yahoo.
Just search

linkdomain:www.whateverdomain.com site:.com

Just change the site from .com to get other results

you can also add keywords to the end of it. If i am just scraping link i just put a, b, c and so on.

There is, OpenSiteExplorer, shows up to 10k for pro membership, 1k for free. But why would you want more than 1k? opensitexplorer sorts those links by importance so you can get the most important ones.
