What have you been to see at the pictures?

Today I did a Backrooms / Obsession double-bill.

Backrooms was excellent. I would like more walking simulator films. Set design was brilliant. Final stretch was slightly disappointing. I would like to live in this place. 8/10

Obsession was also excellent. A bit slow to begin but funnier than I expected, some great gore, Inde Navarrette was absolutely mental (complimentary) as the girl of this guy's dreams. Superb ending. 8/10

Side-note - the trailer for Scary Movie was on before both of these and it looks even unfunnier than the originals, which is some achievement.

Tomorrow I'm going to see Tuner.

well, those two movies were precisely my last 2 ones as well
I preferred Obsession, 8/10
Backrooms I watched yesterday, 6/10 for me, decent
now looking for another horror movie since my brain is fried and I can only watch this kind of stuff nowadays

Sounds like a solid double feature
Backrooms set design sounds really interesting, shame the ending didn’t fully land. Obsession seems like a surprise hit though, especially with that ending.

I did not see Tuner because I went walking, it poured with rain and I was caught under a bridge for about half an hour. Welcome to Manchester!
