I have 20 rooted Galaxy S8+ devices in a phone farm box, and I’m starting to question whether the whole “warm up the account for 3–7 days” advice is actually useful.


Here’s what I’ve tested:


I created a TikTok account on an iPhone 14+. Right after creating it, I posted using TikTok’s live camera feature, and the post instantly got 800+ views.


Then I logged into that same account on a rooted Galaxy S8+ using Shadowrocket with a private residential proxy. When I posted from the S8+ on day one, the video got 0 views.


Normally, I’d try to avoid this by posting through TikTok’s in-app camera feature, but the issue is that these S8+ devices are inside a phone farm box with no physical camera hardware attached.


So my question is: am I basically screwed with this setup?


I don’t want to waste 3–7 days “warming up” accounts if the S8+ farm is still going to get 0 views because of the device setup, missing camera hardware, rooted environment, proxy mismatch, or some other trust signal issue.


A lot of the advice I see on forums feels like theory without clear executable steps, which is why I’m skeptical of the warm-up method. I’m mainly looking for real-world experience from anyone who has actually tested this type of setup.


Has anyone successfully posted from rooted Android farm devices without hardware cameras and still gotten normal views? Or is the missing live-camera/native-device signal basically a dealbreaker?

0 views usually means TikTok isn’t distributing the video at all, not that the content performed badly

From what you described, I’d suspect the device environment before the warm-up process:

• Rooted device
• Phone farm setup
• Missing camera hardware
• Login migration from iPhone -> rooted Android
• Proxy/device trust mismatch

The warm up for 3-7 days advice won’t fix a trust issue if TikTok already flags the device as suspicious

I’d test:

1. Fresh account
2. Same proxy
3. Same content
4. Non-rooted Android with a real camera

If that gets views, you’ve found the bottleneck

Hey, man. Nothing wrong with "warm up", it's generally a must-have. I think in your case is the problem that switching from iOS to relatively old Android devices and posting from there sends a bad signal.

You said yourself that posting from iOS went much better, so why not stay on iOS?

I think warming up is still necessary. Maybe your content is already really good, so it didn't get a view count drop right from the first video. But developing more channels means warming it up is even more solid; you can't be sure that all the content you create will be good, right?

Root is something is detected on first sign on tiktok (on android they check tons of things, and can easy ghost you), only solution is IMO, iphone farm (less headache and fight with algos) - or try use non rooted mode, and then try warmum and check.

On those android farms, you won't pass play integrity (they dont delivery this), they false promise golden eggs with they farms... u need bunch of setup at root to reach what u want..
