Been out of the game for a while and want to get into AI-generated shorts and long-form videos. I have heard that YouTube's algorithm is getting too good at identifying fake growth and cracking down hard on buying views / subscribers, etc. That being said, are there still any useable black hat methods for growing your YouTube channels? If so, which services do you recommend?

YouTube game has shifted a lot and the quick “growth hacks” route is way riskier than it used to be. Most of the stuff that worked before gets flagged pretty fast, especially around artificial engagement.

Getting views alone won't rank your videos. They consider a lot of other things like overall watch time and engagement on your video.

If I were starting a new channel today, I’d spend money on getting real viewers instead of buying views. YouTube Ads, niche communities,Reddit, Telegram channels, X accounts, anything that can bring actual people interested in the topic

For AI content especially, thumbnail CTR and the first 30 seconds matter way more than pumping numbers artificially

Yeah, that's right: cheap bots can damage a channel. Now youtube cares about dynamics and retention, visual-to-audio alignment, hook in the first 3-5 sec., video quality and speaker's facial expressions (if it's not faceless). But gray hat is not dead, it's just evolved. Modern ranking services mimis real human behavior , they safely fotce the algorythm to push your content to a real audience.

any recommendations?

many panels just send bot traffic that gets your channel flagged fast. The only thing that still sort of works is engagement boosting, like farming comments from real looking accounts. But even that's risky. You're better off focusing on good titles and thumbnails. Safer in the long run. I wouldn't recommend any service right now
