It's not good moeny, but I'm making 150 per month... trying to increase it

Firstly, thanks for sharing your journey, really motivating to read. You have already made a good start, especially being consistent now. I think increasing pins and articles will definitely help over time. I am just curious, are you creating fresh pins daily or also reusing designs with slight changes? And are you focusing more on seasonal keywords or evergreen ones right now?

I have created my own Canva templates with about 20 different designs (some collages, some TOBI etc), and every time I will put different images/different titles, so it counts as a fresh pin. I make 5 per URL at a time and schedule them 1 week apart.

I'm focusing mostly on evergreen as I want consistent traffic but also mix in seasonal ones for a boost of traffic. I have now 2 Easter posts up, and they are doing very well, and my spring posts are also picking up traffic. So, mostly a mix of both.

How is the progress

April has been a hard month, as there has been an algorithm change, and I lost more than half of my traffic. Also, RPMs went downhill, as April was the beginning of Q2, and it is normal for them to be fewer.

I have been researching and trying to find solutions and try a different approach. As for now, I have 70 posts published, and I have decided to post more pins aggressively.
Next month, I'm due to give birth to my first child, so I will just schedule pins for the whole month of June and come back to this in July, with a fresh mind.

But I got my first payment in Revolut (159 euro) from Journey, so this was a positive experience and made me more motivated.

Also, I got my 3 first orders on Amazon Associates, so my account was approved there.

I pin manually by the native Pinterest scheduler. I use my own templates created in Canva. I am trying to speed up this process without sacrifing pin design quality as I think it's very important.

Thank you! I have been lurking on make money online forums since I was 15 years old (I am now 28 years old), I used to earn by doing tasks on fiverr, on growing instagram theme accounts and selling them, I had a dropshipping site with 3 sales and 50 euro profit, haha, I have been trying different methods for years and years and going nowhere...

so when I decided to do blog + Pinterest I persuaded myself that I won't give up and move on to another hustle no matter what, I need to work on it until it's successful.. no excuses.

It may have taken me 2 years to see any profit, but I wanted this journey to be a realistic process when trying a side hustle with its ups and downs and I hope that even 1 person that will read this won't give up on their side hustle and keep trying until successful

i like the honesty here because most people underestimate how slow pinterest can feel at the beginning.

it's not like paid traffic where you know within hours if something is working. with pinterest, the effort can feel invisible for a while, then certain pins suddenly start carrying the whole project. if the niche is really pinterest-friendly, consistency is probably going to matter more than any clever trick.

I did something similar years ago, except my traffic came mostly from Google, not Pinterest. Consistency matters the most here. You can tend to quit after a few months, but traffic often starts showing up long after initial the work was done. Also, remember that one good article can keep bringing visitors for years. Wishing you good luck... remember that you are muuuch closer to success than most people who only read about making money online and never actually start doing anything by themselves.
