We are conducting a short survey among professionals working with advertising accounts in Google Ads to better understand current practices, real-world challenges, and the overall market situation.

Our goal is to gather practical insights on how often new accounts are used, what issues specialists face, and how the market is evolving. This survey is purely for research purposes. We are not selling anything or making any commercial offers.

We would really appreciate your input:

How often do you work with new accounts?
How often do you need to switch accounts?
What are the most common issues you face when working with accounts?
Have you experienced any problems with already verified accounts? If yes, what kind?
Do you use verified accounts? If yes, approximately how many per month?
What is the current average market price for such accounts in USD?

I work with new accounts fairly often and switch accounts depending on campaign needs. The most common issues I face are low impressions, disapproved ads, and tracking problems. Verified accounts are more stable but can still face suspensions or limits. I use around 5–10 verified accounts per month, and the market price for such accounts is roughly $50–$100 each.

If your impressions are low, try adding phrase-match keywords and expanding your negative keyword list. This has been tested on hundreds of accounts: this approach helps new accounts get more relevant impressions.

The only problem we have right now is that the account is paused, and we need to pay $20. If you have a solution, I would be grateful for the rest of my life.

What percentage of such accounts do you currently have, and which GEOs are they mainly from?

did you change the bank, or did you use the same one?

One more question: did these accounts pass advertiser verification before the attempted $20 charge?

This issue has been ongoing for about two weeks now. I am targeting the USA and Europe. Yes, I am using a new bank with a new BIN, but the same issue still occurs.

Sometimes they request verification before the accounts are approved, and other times after approval. I also have both US-only accounts and mixed GEO accounts, but all of them are experiencing the same issue.

Do you still face this problem? If not, what exactly did you do to avoid it? Thank you.

We also faced this issue at the very beginning of the year.

Please read this thread as well — maybe you’ll find something useful for yourself:

At the moment, we don’t have any issues with Europe GEO accounts. Around 25–30 accounts per day are passing successfully on our side.

However, many of our partners are facing a situation similar to yours.

I would like to understand more precisely: does it ask you to charge/spend the $20 before you submit the documents for verification, or does it always happen after that?

There is a possibility that the documents are already flagged.

In my case, the issue appears immediately after creating the account, just like in the screenshot I shared — it happens right away before I can proceed further.

That’s why I suspect it might be related to my proxies or the anti-detect browser setup I’m using.

Could you please guide me on how you usually avoid this issue? Any details about your setup, best practices, or what works for you would be really helpful.

Also, do you think it’s better to use European accounts directly, especially since I’m running 20+ accounts per day? Capture d’écran 2026-05-20 140459.png

I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks a lot!

I think it's super important to understand how people are using GAds accounts, like, how often they're creating new ones and the issues they're running into

i never work with new accounts, I only get old accounts. I use dozens of accounts at the same time for all my campaigns but i switch every few weeks. Rarely accounts get banned, yes this happens but is rare as I said.

Honestly, it is hard to say exactly what the issue is in your specific case. It could be related to Google, proxies, browser fingerprint, email accounts, or the whole setup in general.

So far, we have not had this issue on our side. In May, we created around 500 accounts, and we have not seen this problem on a large scale.

If I were you, I would start with A/B testing the whole chain: first test different proxies, then browser profiles/fingerprints, then Google emails and the other parameters. Most likely, there is a weak spot somewhere in the setup that causes this stop right after account creation.

Regarding European accounts: yes, it may be worth testing separately, especially if you are managing more than 20 accounts per day. But I would not switch everything at once. I would first run a small test on part of the accounts and compare the results with the current setup.

That said, something tells me that this may be Google’s way of fighting billing abuse, and most likely this may appear everywhere over time.

Personally, we are already prepared for this scenario and have made adjustments to our expenses in advance. So I would recommend preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best.

In any case, I would not make any sharp conclusions right now. It is better to test different setups and calculate the economics while taking into account a possible increase in costs.

But I think the issue may not be only with the proxy or browser setup. The weak spot could be in the payment profile itself.

For example, the address may already be flagged or burned in Google, or the issue could be related to the first name, last name, payment details, or the overall history of the profile. So there may be a weak point somewhere in that part of the setup, which causes the account to get restricted right away.

I would test different payment profile variations separately: a different address, different first and last name, different email, different region, and a different payment setup. This way, it will be easier to understand whether the issue is actually with the payment profile or still with the proxy/browser setup.

I didn’t get a chance to finish writing, and then this appeared here.

Use "manual payments" and make payments on time to prevent your advertising balance from going into negative territory.
Hi, this is a new account. It has passed all verifications: first the individual identity verification, then the business activity verification. There have been absolutely no ad impressions — not even one.

We will look into this and sort it out.

It doesn't matter if the account is new, old, or verified; what's important is using manual payments to avoid violating Google's policies. To do this, warm up the account first and then start your own ads.

There is an important detail: if the payment is made after verification is completed, the first threshold is effectively skipped. The system may still show the $10/€10 threshold, but in practice the account is moved directly to the next threshold $50/€50. So now we can say that we are paying €18 for the first threshold instead of €10.

Sometimes they pause your account after paying the first $10, so it becomes a bit more expensive. And sometimes we get 0 clicks on some accounts, so this new update is really disrupting the work.

I prefer separating accounts by niche and payments profile. Makes things cleaner and reduces risk if one account runs into issues.
