Hello Everyone.
You may remember me from being the first person to offer "Google News" services on the web (here). I disappeared for some time and will likely do so again soon, as I embark on a new project shortly.
I've seen a lot of 'reddit' discussion here. People finally understand the power of reddit today. While I do think time is limited to reap benefits of the web's most powerful platform -- THere's still plenty of time to generate major earnings from it.
I'm putting together a list of reason why people fail at redditing here to help some of you grow:
1) Trying to wear a hat that doesn't fit.
If you've never used reddit daily to get an innate understanding of why activity helps on reddit -- dont just think you'll figure this out overnight. It's not that easy. There's things that reddit does to other apps like YouTube and google search that you won't even begin to comprehend without experience or coaching.
2) Trying to be CHEAP
Too many people are being eager to get ripped off . You want to spend $20 on an account or build an account and immediately begin commercializing it overnight. Huge failure in mindset to have. Reddit algorithims & filters value established accounts and activity. People mass producing accounts do not care about anything after the sale 99% of the time. If you bought it cheap, it's obvious you're likely to misuse the account and get banned but nobody will tell you this. This kind of perosn will spend $500 on banned accounts instead of $350 on an established account to start.
3) Thinking You're Smarter than Reddit's Ai Filters (Anti-detect browsers, etc)
This isn't 2020 anymore. Reddit has people specifically browsing places like BHW to learn the latest methods, watch sellers with public panels, etc and they try to reverse engineer the equation to eliminate such exploitations. They know the latest anti-detect browsers, they know popular VPNs, all that stuff. You think you're smarter than the TEAM of people a billion dollar brand hires to eliminate spam, bots, etc? Be serious. Only a small percentage will survive.
4) Not Understanding the Niche(s) you submit content to
Again, trying to 'fake the funk' will leave without an account many of the times. Subreddit mods today, in top grouips especially are always looking for people to ban because it's annoying to have to moderate 10,000 or 100,000 or 1,000,000 people -- so instead, weak comments get generalized as low effort/spam/unrelated and removed . WIth each removal you get closer to a ban and sometimes just a ban flat out (new accounts especially).
5) Good redditing takes time daily
If you want a good reddit account you need to be active . The more posts you make daily the better . If you're not willing to sacrifice time to update your reddit account everyday then you should possibly consider delegating the reddit marketing to someone else who will. Maximal performance and trust comes with the activity.
6) Blocking Reddit from seeing your data (ties to #3)
This is a filter trigger these days. They red flag your account when it's news or changing IPs but suddenly blocking the browser print or trying to limit IP data . As of now, this is definitely a huge 'red flag' to Reddit.
Hope this helps everyone Good Luck!
