Which one of those two is easier to get traction and steadier growth/rev?

We target Agencies and coaches.

Agencies mostly live on IG, a bit of larping there flexing client results
Coaches on the other hand I see them live and breathe on FB

I want to focus on one channel for Inflowave

Which one would be arguably easier to tap into, has better reach and is more conversion oriented instead of just pure blank reach

If it's a product aimed at young people, I'd sell it on Instagram; if it's more for older people, I'd sell it on Facebook.

And that's where the fun begins because our ICP is 23-50... Can't focus on both if I had to guess more money being made is by the older guys but its the youngs that bring reach which one day might or might not convert into sales

Facebook's where the money's at for coaches and agencies, it's a more professional platform and they're likely to have a stronger presence there. I've seen better results when targeting older demographics on Facebook, they tend to have more disposable income and are more likely to invest in products or services. The 23-50 age range is a good target, but if I had to prioritize, I'd focus on the 30-50 range, they're more established and have a clearer understanding of their needs. Instagram's great for reach, but it's a lot harder to convert followers into paying customers, especially when you're targeting a specific niche like agencies and coaches. Facebook's targeting options are more robust, making it easier to get in front of the right people, and it's performed noticeably better for me in the past. It's worth noting that building a presence on both platforms can be beneficial, but if you have to choose one, Facebook's your best bet.

My approach would be to not commit too much on any platform. I would do small tests on each platform, and the scale up depending on where i get traction. Fully committing to one platfrom before you see results is never a good idea

actually, u can try both platforms.
each platform will be suitable with a specific products and target. Meta ads allow you selecting both FB and Insta
to see what is good for you

IG is a good choice for brand building, but facebook has a larger reach
you can consider who is your target market and make a suitable choice

If you want to pick one, run split tests to see what brings you more conversions. If fb is good right now, then go with instead of hoping that clients from IG might convert someday in the future.

Facebook, i mean
But, goods like Cosmetics, clothing should be advertised in Instargram

Instagram, personally... Much easier to start and build some audience with younger people on IG

It’s honestly a toss-up, but Facebook remains significantly more conversion-oriented for high-ticket coaches because the group ecosystem allows for much deeper nurturing than IG’s fleeting Reels

Depends on the age of your audience. Younger audience can be attracted via Instagram vs older audience via Facebook. You will probably need ads as well at either channel/social media.

fb is still the ultimate sweet spot, bro

Selling stuff works better on FB but IG wins on marketing and them pretty products.

the pretty product here is a SaaS though not a makeup palette

Facebook attracts many potential customers, offers the potential for widespread sales, and has many real users, so I think selling on Facebook would be better.

I’d go with FB for coaches and IG for agencies, but FB groups + direct conversations usually bring higher intent leads than just posting content.
