Have you ever thought about advertising in shorts? For every 9 viral clips you put 1 scene of your viral store product? And put the url to your store in the short?

I think a lot of people are already utilizing youtube shorts to push products and services. I'm sure it's worth it.

Could work if the product placement feels natural and not forced, people usually scroll fast on Shorts, so blending it into the content probably matters a lot

Putting a URL directly in the video is a fast track to getting shadowbanned or just having your reach killed by the spam filters. YouTube is very protective of its Shorts feed.

Also, as soon as viewers see a blatant ad scene, retention drops and the algorithm stops pushing the video. If you want this to work, make the product scene look like organic, viral content, and drive people to the link in your pinned comment or channel bio instead of putting it on the screen. The 9:1 ratio is a good safety net, but the execution needs to be seamless.

Yes, that strategy can work if the product placement feels natural and not too promotional soft-selling through viral Shorts usually performs better than direct ads.
