Just saw this post by Russell Brunson so I went digging and found it's ran by a former twitter employee.

"The project is being led by Evan Henshaw-Plath, a former Twitter employee known online as Rabble, who originally set out to give old Vines a permanent home."

Sadly there seems to be a waiting list.

That's a great move to ban ai. Must be a well thought move unlike not so well thought tweet by Mr Brunson.

There was some irony in that emdash in Russell's post.

But what is vine? I don't even remember!

Basically it's Tiktok before tiktok was even a thing.

It was ultra popular when I was in college.

We would share vines with each other.

A bit like how people do that with reels nowadays.

Nostalgia melancholy vibes right now.

before completely banning AI content, did they consider that most people don't mind AI content if it's good.
