Hello

I’m working on ranking my casino website and targeting a keyword with a KD of around 65 which is quite competitive I have put together a strategy and was considering options like casino ads niche edits and clean PBNs to speed things up.

Given how much search engines have evolved what would you suggest is the most effective approach to improve rankings in this kind of competitive niche?

Any small but practical tips would be appreciated

There is no such thing as a 'clean PBN' in casino. KD 65 means you are going to war against massive budgets. You can't treat high-risk gray niches like a standard affiliate blog. Drop the cheap niche edits and focus on aggressive, top-tier linkbuilding. You also need heavy SERM to build real brand authority and positive search sentiment, otherwise the algorithm will just filter you out before you even break page three.

A solid PBN is your best bet when it comes to casino links. But the key is that you own that PBN.

It's a difficult niche, so don't expect cheap links to do anything.

Also, make sure you build a brand as you build the site/PBN. That's also important.

I have worked a few times with this niche but never liked it cause it's hard to automate the SEO part as the niche is so hard. In general I prefer strategies where it's super safe and looks natural all the time and where I can automate easily with GSA SER or Ranker X and all my niches depend on my niche. But such niche (I am not blindly saying that KD is a high number as I have dominated KD so called 70 along with tiered building.. I am saying cause this niche is genuinely competitive and daily coming out original content... So you definitely need high quality network for that. If you have budget and time

Grab expired domains / Brand new domains and with AI or manual either way generate high quality content. Never ever link google products and if you want a webmaster use Ahrefs free webmaster kind of things. Be careful with Foot prints.

Then build some parasites / buffer sites

Then use GSA SER with contextual blasts into it. No matter the niche the strategy should work it all depend on quantity and how original the content. Also you can use those parasites / buffer sites to generate / monetize separately so these are not meant to be PBNs even they work like that.

the only things im really seeing being used and working in that industry are parasites (the more hacky kind) and repurposed expired domains, with a lot of tiered linking backing up. nothing i would class as clean!

For KD 65 in casino, you’re gonna need heavy duty niche edits and high power pbns to see any movement. Keep your anchor text ratios safe so you don't get caught in a spam filter. Once you're sitting on page two or three, hit it with some ctr manipulation to push your site into the top spots.

In a niche as competitive as casino, niche edits and clean PBNs are definitely the way to go for power, but dont overlook your internal linking structure. Making sure your juice is flowing correctly to that specific target page can often give you the extra push you need to break into the top 10 without having to just keep buying more and more links.

clean pbn can still work but risky if footprint shows. safer play is mix of real placements + internal linking power. content depth matters more now than before

For casino SEO, relevance and authority matter way more now than just raw link volume. a mix of strong niche edits, clean authority links, solid internal linking, and really good content around related long-tail terms usually works better than going too aggressive too fast.

from my experience I focus on long tail casino keyword first, built topical content around them and improve authority slowly. strong backlinks and good internal linking matter a lot in that niche.
