Nice update to Backlinko's 3.8x study from 2018

If anyone remembers Backlinko's massive analysis of 11.8 million SERPs back in 2018, and the figure of 3.8x as the average number of backlinks the top result had over the rest of the top 10; well here's a recent update of the analysis by Loganix, albeit on a much smaller scale: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/8-years-does-backlinkos-38x-backlink-study-hold-up-2026-loganix-jzwbc

The takeaway - the results are almost the same as in the original analysis, with 3.54x being the average number of more backlinks the top result has over the rest.
