Recently started testing a sports betting offer with traffic from X and a bit of Reddit. Didn’t expect much at first, but the results are actually not bad.
What I’ve noticed so far:

• Conversions are higher when you don’t go full “ad mode”
• Story-style posts work better than direct links
• Engagement (comments/replies) seems to boost visibility a lot

Been using a platform with pretty smooth UX and fast payouts, which definitely helps with retention.
Still early stage, but ROI is looking decent.

Thats a solid insight about the story style posts. People on X and Reddit are so used to ignoring direct ads that anything feeling even slightly more personal usually performs way better. Have you found any specific time of day works better for engagement on X, or is it just about hitting the right trending sports topics at the time?

In my experience, hitting the prime time for the specific region you're targeting usually works best. Like posting just before a major game starts when everyone is checking their feeds for news. If you havent tracked it yet, maybe try a few different slots and see which one gets the most immediate replies, as that initial engagement is what usually triggers the algorithm to show it to more people.
