Honestly, something in research or investigation — specifically investigative journalism or competitive intelligence work.

The part of internet marketing I genuinely enjoy is the detective aspect: figuring out why a competitor is ranking, reverse-engineering a business model from their public signals, finding the angle nobody else has noticed. The actual content creation and link building I do on autopilot, but the research phase is where I get absorbed.

If money didn't matter, I'd want to do that full time but applied to something with more real-world stakes — investigative finance journalism, policy research, or even something like market intelligence for NGOs.

The navyraiser wildlife protection answer resonates too. There's something about work that feels like it has a clear positive output in the real world that "rank this affiliate site" just doesn't provide, no matter how good the paycheck is. The problem-solving part of this work is genuinely engaging — the purpose layer is where it falls short for me personally.

I can relate to investigation part in online work, I enjoy that too BUT only under non stressful circumstances...meaning, if I need to find out something quickly otherwise I loose money for example, then I do not enjoy that. Interesting dream though!

Cyber security, and computer science in general, can't help but imagine, how simple on and off electrical signals translate into complex machines that can do almost anything. Feeling like going back to school to start from the very beginning and focus on computer science, sadly can't learn on empty stomach currently broke as fk.

Sounds cool man! I have no clue about cyber security, but that niche will always be in demand. Dont worry about being broke right now, that is temporary, I have been broke many times

I have a profession in mind, but it’s more like a retirement dream, I’ve always wanted to open a café.
I’d just spend my days there, and it would have a few extra rooms for guests. I’ve always loved cooking, so I’d make my own menu and food, lead a great team, and take care of my employees by giving back.
I’d want to be friends with everyone there. And one day, I’d peacefully leave this world in that very café, and leaving everything to the people who worked alongside me.

But sometimes I wanted to become The President

My mom always dreamt about opening a cafe too, shes retired now. I am always on a lookout for a small cafe for her . A small cafe/restaurant can be very rewarding in terms of giving back etc. also money wise (I think)

As long as we have so many crazies in the world we need our armies! I would be too scared for that though, so hats off to you. And to your other dream....why not?! My wife enjoys to dance too!

That's one of my dreams too! Just a small farm for ourselves. We already all kind of veggies and fruits and have a few chickens.

That's interesting! I always liked powerlifting, I'm just too old now, still like lifting heavy though.
