Adsterra giving low CPM even with high volume and tier 1 traffic

I want to discuss and want to know if someine else is working with adseterra and having the issue of low CPM by using direct link . My traffic is mostly from social media and more specifically X. visitor countries include all over the world but most from USA , UK .
I am working with adsterra since september 2025 . at the start it used to be 3 usd but for past 3-4 months it no more then 1.
i am very frustrated and want to know if some one has same issue or only me

Adsterra was a very good monetization company for a long time (I've used it on several websites myself), but it hasn't been worth it for a while now, not only because of the drop in CPM, but also because it frequently inserts pop-up ads or redirects, a very common complaint from many publishers.

If it helps as an alternative, I've been using HillTopAds for months and I'm quite satisfied with them. The ads are clean and usually give me good CPM rates for all countries, especially for Tier 1 traffic.

Yeah bro same thing happened with me. Social/X traffic usually gets trash CPM after some time once they “test” your traffic quality. Adsterra works way better with search intent traffic than random social clicks tbh. I switched part of my traffic to another network and earnings were more stable.

It’s usually not just traffic quality, Adsterra CPM depends a lot on ad format, engagement, and demand from advertisers at that moment. Even Tier 1 traffic can get low CPM if conversions or engagement are weak.

Might be worth testing Admaven alongside others too. Sometimes CPM varies a lot by GEO + format, not just the network itself.

Same issue here man, Adsterra direct links have been absolute trash lately for social traffic. X traffic clicks are fast but the conversion rate for their advertisers is probably tanking, so they slashed the CPMs across the board.

Honestly, stop wasting Tier 1 traffic on them. Switch to Monetag or try running a pre-lander instead of sending them straight to the direct link. Adsterra has been shaving rates hard the past few months.

Adsterra low CPM often happens due to low-demand GEO/ad format mismatch or non-premium traffic sources, so switching to better zones (US/UK only), optimizing formats, and testing other ad networks usually improves CPM.

yeah i seen same thing tbh, adsterra rates been dropping hard past months
even with US/UK traffic direct links dont pay like before anymore

try rotating placements or push to a LP first, direct link gets capped fast
also x traffic can be hit or miss, depends on engagement a lot

same here bro, adsterra direct link on X traffic been trash lately, only pops $0.5-1 even on US traffic, feels like they cutting rates or bots killing value nowadays.

Yeah this happens sometimes, Adsterra CPM can drop based on demand, ad quality and traffic type, so even Tier 1 traffic doesn’t always guarantee high rates anymore.
