What are your skills, credentials, portfolio, etc. Leverage off of that. If it's not on demand, start putting in the effort to gain marketable skills in the online sphere that can cut you a decent earning. Hard work doesn't guarantee success, but the people who succeed usually worked hard for it. Also work smarter, needless to say.
