skip the hype playlists honestly, one month in youre still building the habit so the music matters less than you think. i ran a half marathon training block last year with nothing but podcasts for 6 weeks and hit better times than when i had a curated spotify gym playlist, turns out the distraction of actually listening to something with substance kept me from dreading the session. if you really want songs though, anything around 140-150 bpm works mechanically for lifting rhythm, your body syncs up without you even noticing it.

Who said music is required or a must? But it gives energy and you can enjoy your workout session more, at least it is this way for me. Some days I don't want to listen to anything while working out.
