IAM account creation

Hi all,

I'm building a burn-and-churn setup for Instagram DMs using InstAccountsManager (IAM). Each account lasts 100 DMs (2 days) sending 50 per day, which is fine for my use case. For cost efficiency, I'm using email-only accounts (no SMS), similar to the 3‑ruble accounts I currently buy.

I have 50 self‑hosted mobile proxies. My own account creation attempts keep getting suspended immediately, so I'm clearly missing something. Based on what I've researched, the questions I need answered are:

1. How many accounts can I actually create per proxy?
I've seen figures ranging from 2 up to 20. What's a realistic, field-tested number for 2026? Also, I've read that settings matter more than the tool itself—what specific IAM settings should I focus on to improve creation success?

2. Web, Mobile, or Desktop emulation for this churn-and-burn pattern?
Which environment gives the best balance between account survival and resource use for short‑lived accounts?

3. Proxy rotation frequency: aggressive vs conservative?
Will rotating IPs after each creation help reduce footprint, or does sticking to one IP per session look more natural?

4. Is posting after creation necessary?
Some say posting a story or image improves trust scores; others say it's a waste for accounts that will be dead in 2 days. What's the real difference in lifespan?

5. Email choice: how does catch-all compare to other options?
Is catch‑all email the main factor in account survival, or are there other, more critical factors I should pay attention to?

6. What else am I missing?
My sending pattern is consistent, but the creation step is failing. What key factor is likely causing immediate suspensions?

7. How about profiling also!

we have no issues but we create accounts on our phone farms iOS/Android but Android is bit harder and needed some tweaks. A mobile proxy has unlimited amount of accounts depending on how you created and so on, we also create our own but most likely also how you created them matters

how many phones do you have ? and how many can you make per day?

Android tends to be a bit more challenging and requires some extra tweaks. We don't face major issues, but we create accounts using phone farms (iOS/Android).With a mobile proxy, you can handle a large number of accounts—it mostly depends on how they're created.

having problem connecting this bot using Gmail registered profiles which result with invalid imap and doesn't know how to login accounts with email access or login using the IAM bot.

you can't use IMAP for Gmail on IAM.

You can use IAM to create accounts; how just like you mentioned; the accounts might get suspended right away. This might be due to IAM using API; but you can see if it helps in your case,
