Hey guys, just curious is Google Ads still worth learning for someone starting out?
I see mixed opinions everywhere and I’d like to hear from people actually using it right now

I'm running gambling ads on google for clients, casinos & affiliates. Works well still, got more difficult for sure though.

That’s interesting appreciate you sharing that, When you say it’s gotten more difficult is that mainly due to stricter policies or rising ad costs?

of course yes, bro. but be sure that u have a minimal ok setup for running ads in Google, because with every year it becomes more difficult to work with this platform essentially in gambling or high risk niches.

u can search for some starter packs (ad accounts/virtual cards/proxies) in order to avoid bans for some period.

in my country its not a good think to use adsense. because CPM is very low. and taxes.. omg there is no point lol.

Yeah I’ve heard the platform has gotten stricter over time, especially in certain niches. I’m probably going to start with something more straightforward first just to understand how everything works before going deeper

Speaking from my experience, Google Ads is still worth learning for beginners.
But still it’s not as easy as it used to be, and it takes time to understand.

It works well if you learn the basics and test properly.
With the right approach, it can still bring good results.

How do you get these kinds of ads approved

Yes, it’s worth it - it’s still an in-demand skill and you can make money with it.
But it’s not quick money: it requires practice, budget, and time to learn.

what do u mean? the adset kit like LP, payment method and etc? if we are talking about google there are some basic rules to avoid bans in case of payment method: 1)one account = one virtual card, 2) geo account. = geo vcc 3) do not use BINs with bad history

u can google some victual cards for google ads in order to find the solution for your case

Makes sense, would you say the biggest challenge at the start is more about understanding the system or managing the budget while learning?

Google Ads is all about ROI. One needs to keep testing various offers to promote and optimizing ad campaigns towards the best possible buyer intent.

Yes, Sure, You can start learning google ads, Its already 60%-70% markets hold for marketing area, You can use Google ads for your own business or provide service for client.

Of course, but I have to say, we need to be even more careful and cautious than before. The email address, mobile number, and other details used to register the account must be clean, ideally, they should never have been used before.
We also need to upgrade our cloaking setting ups, as Google's review process has become significantly more stringent than in the past.

Yeah, people are still getting results with Google Ads, but it’s not as easy as before. Costs are higher and you need a bit more testing to find what works.

For beginners, I’d say it’s still worth learning, especially if you focus on keyword intent, simple funnels, and tracking conversions properly.

It’s less about quick wins now and more about optimization over time

In my opinion, it's still worth learning because there's always real demand for Google Ads (sales, leads). But now the competition is high, so you need to understand the data and optimize carefully. If you're new, you can combine it with short content, affiliate/landing pages, easier to test and then use Ads to scale once you have an effective product.

Of course, Google Ads is still very worthwhile to learn, especially if you're focusing on local services/lead generation. It's a channel that accurately targets customer needs and now Google even has Smart Bidding using AI, making it easier for beginners to get started.

If you want to learn Google, be ready to burn a lot of money and nerves on testing

I’ve been working with Google Ads for almost 15 years. Even for me, some updates can still feel confusing sometimes. It’s a living ecosystem and we have to adapt constantly. But the core fundamentals never really changed, and because of that, I still think Google Ads is one of the best skills to learn.

Tons of success. That’s all i do is google ads these days, i still do run some Microsoft ads but i have accounts i started within the last 2 years spending millions a month that started on a few thousand
