I have recently started posting on TikTok and trying to understand how growth works for new accounts.

Right now, my videos are getting around a few hundred views, but it is very inconsistent. Some videos do okay, while others barely get any reach.

Yeah the watch time completion rate is the real signal nobody talks about. TikTok doesnt care how many videos you post, it cares if people actually finish watching yours. Even a 15 sec video with 80% completion will get pushed way harder than a 60 sec one where people drop off at 5 secs.
