I’m researching a suspicious backlink blast that hit several sites and hoping experienced members can help identify the likely seller ecosystem or tool behind it.

Pattern observed:

• Thousands of backlinks created in a very short time
• Mostly subdomain-style blog links

  • X for Dummies

Questions:

1. Does this footprint look like a known hosted blog network or reseller inventory?
2. More likely private panel, GSA SER list, custom multisite, or something else?
3. Have you seen these root domains tied to any public services before?
4. Best defensive approach beyond domain-level disavow?

Looks like a typical auto-generated web 2.0 / spam network footprint (likely GSA SER or similar lists) rather than a “premium” private network. Best move is ignore + domain-level disavow, monitor anchors, and strengthen your own link profile instead of chasing every spam domain.
