Hi everyone, I'm new to Instagram and I manually manage an Instagram farm of about 30 accounts. I follow a daily routine of pre-launching accounts to ensure stability, and I use an ISP's proxy service, with five accounts under each proxy. I'm using iPhone 6S to iPhone 7 Plus. I cross-follow accounts by sharing their follower lists with other accounts in the same niche. However, I've recently encountered some problems. My story views are very low, even though some accounts have 2000 followers, it doesn't seem to be helping. I'd like to know how to improve this. I hope everyone can give me some suggestions. Low story views usually mean low engagement, not low followers.
Most of your followers probably followed back but aren’t really interested, so Instagram doesn’t show them your stories. To improve, focus on more engaging content (polls, questions) and stay consistent.
It’s about active audience, not just numbers.

Your system is experiencing reduced interaction due to the algorithm detecting the "fingerprint" of a bot farm. To fix this, you need to immediately reduce the proxy density to 1 IP/2 accounts to avoid cluster scans, and stop internal cross-following to eliminate the obvious links between machines. Instead of letting 30 accounts "play by themselves," focus on posting Reels to attract real users and use Interactive Stickers(Polls, Quizzes) in Stories to "bait" the algorithm to restore account credibility.

If most of them came from cross-following, they probably don’t engage, so stories get low reach. Try posting more engaging stories (polls, questions) and focus a bit on real interaction instead of just numbers.
Even a smaller but active audience gives better views.

I've been thinking about some issues, and as you've mentioned, I previously tried methods like (voting, asking questions) with a batch of accounts for a while, but the results were minimal, even negligible. It didn't work well, and the reason for cross-following is that this kind of audience is more targeted, since my niche is slots. What kind of content should I create? I need to use story interactions to promote my links. I've tried all sorts of methods, but the results don't seem significant. Another question is, how do you guys pre-heat your accounts? I manually pre-heat about three times a day, 10-15 minutes each time. I watch Reels and follow 1-2 well-known bloggers, like popular posts, and watch their story interactions. I don't think my actions are bot-like, but the pre-heating effect doesn't seem very good. Also, I'm posting related videos, but creating them one by one for a large number of accounts would be a huge time burden, and I can't do that, since I'm managing about 30 accounts. Engagement is what matters more on IG nowadays. Therefore you should post high quality content, consistently. Prioritize posting reels because in terms of growth they are the best; they can go viral sometimes making them an ideal tool to get more followers.

Low story views usually happen because engagement is weak or the audience is not real or active cross following and shared followers often reduce quality so Instagram does not push stories much focus on real interaction posting engaging stories and building a genuine audience instead of just numbers

Stories operate via your own followers viewing it. In terms of getting users from the explore page to view them; then that is something you are going to have to let people in reels know to do that once they click on your video.

Your cross-followers are also accounts they only use to reach their follower count before freezing and selling them. That's why you have 2000 followers but no story engagement.

Story views are more about real engagement than follower count. Cross-following between your own accounts can make the audience weak, even if the numbers look good. Also, 5 accounts under one proxy may be too tight if the activity pattern is similar. Better test different content hooks, posting time, and keep each account in a separate profile with its own cookies, fingerprint, and stable proxy.

- focus more on real audience interaction

- warm up accounts slowly
- diversify behavior between accounts
