Hello, I’ve been testing different SEO strategies lately and was wondering if forum backlinks still work in 2026.

Search engines like Google seem to focus more on quality now, so I’m not sure if forum links are still worth the effort.

Has anyone seen good results using forums recently?

Thanks!! :smirk:

Yes, forum backlinks still work in 2026, but only for relevance and referral traffic, not strong ranking power. Spam forum links are mostly ignored now, while natural niche discussions can still help a little with SEO signals.

if they give you traffic they're worth it, no matter what google say. Aren't you building sites to get traffic? Well, forum traffic is the best type of traffic after search engine traffic, so the forum links are still worth it IMO.

But like I said, they need to give you traffic, otherwise...

Forum backlinks still exist in 2026, but they mainly help with traffic and exposure, not rankings. Natural links from active forums can add some value, but spammy ones are mostly ignored. It’s better to focus on quality content and strong, authoritative backlinks.

Forum backlinks still work, but mostly as low-impact, support links, not for strong ranking boosts on Google. They help more with traffic and diversification, while real SEO value comes from high-quality, relevant links

Yes Sir, forum backlinks still work in 2026 but their role has changed. They no longer carry strong ranking power like they used to, especially if they are Spammy or irrelevant. Search engines have become much better at ignoring low-quality forum links. However, when used properly, forum backlinks can still be valuable. If they come from relevant communities, genuine discussions, and niche-related threads, they help in building topical relevance, brand visibility, and referral traffic. These indirect signals can support overall SEO performance So the focus should not be on quantity, but on quality engaging in meaningful conversations where your link adds value naturally. In short: forum backlinks are still useful, but only when done the right way.

Hey Mate, Forum backlinks still exist in 2026, but their main benefit is traffic and exposure rather than direct rankings. Natural links from active, relevant forums can add some value, while spammy links are mostly ignored. It’s better to focus on quality content and earning strong, authoritative backlinks.

Forum backlinks still exist, but they are not strong for SEO in 2026. Most are nofollow and don’t directly boost rankings. They can still help with referral traffic, indexing, and niche visibility, but not as a main link-building strategy.

They still work. If you build contextual backlinks in niche relevant forums with considerable traffic and the threads rank in Google for niche relevant keywords, they are gold standard.

Yes, forum backlinks still work in 2026, but mostly for traffic and relevance, not strong rankings. Focus on genuine, niche forums instead of spammy links.

Forum backlinks still work in 2026, but mainly for targeted traffic and niche relevance—not for strong ranking boosts in Google.

Forum links stick long, and can support your guest post links.

I believe they work, especially niche forum links that are placed on a page that receive a lot of traffic

Yes, forum backlinks still exist, but they’re very weak now and mostly don’t move rankings much unless they are highly relevant and natural.

Forum backlinks still have some value in 2026 but mainly for referral traffic and indexing, not strong ranking boosts anymore. If the forum is active and niche relevant, it can still bring real visitors. Otherwise, most low quality forum links don’t make much difference for SEO.

forum backlinks in 2026 are still useful for indexing and niche traffic, but they don’t really move rankings much anymore unless they come from very relevant, active discussions.

Forum backlinks still work a bit for traffic and diversity but they won’t move rankings much unless they’re high quality and relevant.

Yep, still useful, but you gotta add real value. I mainly use forum links for referral traffic and to build topical relevance, not as a primary ranking hack. Spammy or irrelevant posts get ignored fast. If it brings actual traffic and conversation, it’s worth it; otherwise, not so much.

Forum backlinks still exist , but they do not really boost rankings much anymore . They are more useful for traffic and niche exposure if the forum is relevant . Low-quality spam links quality spam links usually do not help at all.

Yes but only lightly, forum backlinks help more for traffic and indexing now, not strong ranking signals anymore.
