Writing content that people actually read

It’s easy to write articles but getting people to actually read and stay is another thing. I’m starting to think it’s more about how you present the content than just the topic itself.
What do you focus on to keep readers engaged?

Yeah I agree with you. Writing content isn’t that hard now, but getting people to actually stay is the real challenge.

From my side (mostly working on WordPress & Learner of SEO), I’ve noticed presentation matters a lot. Even good content feels boring if it’s just long blocks of text.

I usually try to keep paragraphs short and add some spacing so it’s easier to read. Also, site speed plays a role, if your site is slow, viewer or user should exit the site.

Intro is important also, because starting is not engaging the viewer of your article, don't scroll down to reading it completely

I’m still figuring things out, though but readability and structure definitely helped me.

Depends on the niche and relevance of the content to the reader. Other than that, how topical it is is also a factor. Shaping your content around that usually makes readers give a damn about what they read.

Start with a strong hook that hints at the transformation they'll get after reading your article. Write short blocks of text and good spacing for easy readability. Write in plain English and how humans converse.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I’ve noticed the same with long blocks of text they just kill the interest. Need to work more on structure for sure
