What is the purpose of a VPS in relationship to SEO for hosting a website? Does it have its own DNS like godaddy, or hostinger where i register domain "registerhere" and point the the "godaddy" dns records there? It seems like a VM machine really where I can allocate the size, space etc but it is not like a hosting correct?

I see it mentioned all the time but wondering the why on this, I always thought the host is handling size, memory and cpu of the server that host your website and you can pay them for more.

A VPS gives you much more control than shared hosting, letting you manage your own server resources like CPU, RAM, and storage. For SEO, it does not directly boost rankings, but better speed, uptime, and stability can improve performance. Your domain (from GoDaddy or Hostinger) stays separate you simply point its DNS (A record) to your VPS IP, since a VPS does not handle DNS by default.

VPS is like your own server, you control it, install stuff, faster for SEO sometimes, DNS still from domain provider.

VPS is server rental, legit form of RDP.

The servers I have run are MailinaBox (Mixed result) and 3CX PBX setups. I am looking to rebuild with some money and make them work with AI workers; like AI receptionist and replies.

Top Servers I plan to build next
-FreePBX (Perhaps buy server)
-MailinaBox* (VPS*)
-Misc Production: GSA Website Contact|Scrapers/Application|Pinflux (VPS)

Worth mentioning: AutoGPT (Autonomous API Credit fed GPT - Old Now?); took 1 day+ to setup the thing.

Theres more you can do with AI, supposedly, Ive pulled process blueprints from Chatbot AI like GPT showing some things you can do with containers, where they have AI workers. Automations like RPA are more common for automated processes. Theres a number of Python tools too worth checking out.

That's a good way to explain it. A VPS also gives you more flexibility since you can configure the environment to match your needs, which can be useful for different projects.

A VPS gives you more control over the server environment. for most SEO projects good hosting is enough unless you need custom configuration.
