I’m about to launch my first campaign. I have no prior marketing experience, but I’ve spent the last few weeks researching FB, Taboola, and Google, and I’ve decided to start with Google.

Here is my plan for the setup:

  • Account: Using an aged Google account for a better trust score. I’ll be warming it up properly before creating the actual Ads account.
  • Setup: I have a cloaker ready. I’ll be using a white page and a main money page.
  • Strategy: Start with a Search campaign. I’ll set up all my filtration (keywords, etc.) and launch while the cloaker is inactive.
  • Approval: Once the ad is approved, I’ll run it on a low budget for a while. Only after it's stable will I put the cloaker to work.
I’m sure I’ve missed a few things and I know I’ll learn a lot more by actually doing it, but I’d love some advice from the pros.
Please help me understand more.
Thanks,

Smart move letting the ad run clean before activating the cloaker, most beginners skip that and get flagged immediately. One thing I'd add: start with exact match keywords only, broad match will burn your budget fast while you're still learning.

great tip, really appreciated.
Thanks

Your plan looks solid for a beginner. Just ensure your white page has high-quality content and all legal pages (TOS, Privacy) to avoid early flags during the manual review phase.
Really appreciate the reply, I will make sure my white page is a proper website.

Are there any other underwater stones you think I should be prepared for ?

Thanks
