Yeah, I think it works as a negative signal for anything. Some people have done tests and case studies on it. I've used it to drop websites and authority websites like reddit and quora. When I couldn't bump the authority ones with just CTR.

1. It depends on the level of traffic that a keyword would normally get. If the keyword gets 100 clicks a day. #1 would probably get (20 clicks), #2 (10 clicks), #3 (8 clicks), #4 (5 clicks), #5-10 maybe (1-3 clicks). So if I'm #5-10, I would send 5 clicks a day to mimic the #4 website.

I only do CTR page 1-2. Anything beyond that I use social referral traffic and backlink traffic to get to those pages. Usually if you are page 10 and you run referral traffic it will jump you up to page 1-2 in a few weeks sometimes a few days. Or you could do keywords + branded for CTR and that should put you on page 1 for the keyword. But if you do a bunch of CTR on page 10 it won't look natural and it really doesn't work.

I think I did not make myself clear. I was not talking about CTR, but rather on the traffic for referral visits. For example I am in page 10+ and I am thinking about boosting my page with spoofed referrals. How many would you consider enough to give a boost, but at the same time keeping a natural profile?

For example now I have between 0-4 daily visits per day via referrals coming from reddit/other sources. I believe a jumping in 100+ visits per day would look unnatural, right? or not?

I would start with 5-10 for that specific instance. If you don't see movement. Bump it up to 10-15. You generally don't need 100 visits a day to get a boost.

Yeah I think interactions are what matter. A lot of the CTR bots out will just go to the homepage for a minute and bounce. Which I have seen as a negative signal.

The best strategy to get from page 3-10 is to spoof social referral traffic. Once you hit page 1-2 add branded + keyword searches. Once you hit page 1 add in your keyword searches. And once you hit top 3 use a system like push/pull to pogostick the websites above you and send negative traffic signals like high bounce rate (5-25 second visits) before clicking and going to your website and spending 5-10 minutes clicking around on your inner pages.

This one I had to outrank a reddit thread. And the only way I was able to do it was with pogosticking the reddit thread.View attachment 509410

Another thing to be aware of. If it doesn't show up in Google analytics that means it's not working.

most likely not, AFAIK these tools use position to guesstimate your traffic so nope

Once you’re in top 3, real ROI comes from solid content, UX signals, and honest engagement, not faux clicks. It’s a pricey game that often burns out fast.

Yeah I think it depends on how well you spoof it. All the software I tested was pretty easy to detect, besides the one I use now.

They just added a Negative SEO setting to run to your competitors. It does the CTR and then bounces immediately. So I'm going to test that and report back the results.

You can either spoof it. Which will trick google and make it show up in analytics. Or you can run traffic to your socials and click your links from there.
