Fiverr is slowly dying?

Hi there.

I have been testing Fiverr few weeks ago for couple of days and I made some good money with it.

As I want use this money for some jobs to be done for me (and because I dont have time to do Fiverr stuff anymore as its no as rewarding and is no reason to take job from somebody who really need it) i decided to find top service providers to do some small graphic jobs for me.

I have contacted 2 days ago around 10 most active graphic designers on Fiverr.

Guess what?

No one answered.

I was asking some simple questions like : "What is turnaround?" or "Do you take orders?"

Is it time when everybody realized that Fiveer is shit and is more of hassle than real money maker?

Is Fiverr become MySpace now and all we will see "I will hold your sign" and "I will send you postcard" stuff?

I would say that at least 75% of the Gig I have ordered on Fiverr were never completed. Many never even responded back.

The changes that Fiverr made recently aren't good, either. Thwe whole delivery and job completion process was made much more complicated. I hardly get any feedback anymore and the jobs take the full 3 days to be completed most of the time because the people who order my Gigs are dumb ass Fiverr users who can't figure it out.

As far as sales, I find it best to sell MRR bundles. I've done very well with that, especially website templates and blog themes.

But yeah, the majority of Fiverr users are morons.

Ask them to show you the groups they use to suggest things to your Facebook and although yea, $5, you will not be surprised when you see a group of 30k with 200 updates a day on it. Desensitized beyond belief.

I think the Fiverr is lacking one thing - VISION.

They are loosing the ground.
They see numbers growing but they do not see bigger picture.
And one day everything will just collapse and then they will be shocked and looking for somebody or someone to blame...

I always thought that Fiverr is very good thing. Not for me, but for all people from developing countries.
From places like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya or Philippines to make some cash and start in IM.
But Fiverr is dominated by some fucked up "Hold you Sign" college girls.

I Disagree Fiverr is not Dying yet but it is facing tough competition

Problems With Fiverr ( In my Opinion )
1) Dead Gigs
2) Foolish Gigs on Page 1
3) Their ranking system ( if they have any )

But you see, its not made for it.. what i mean is Fiverr was not created to make people real money.. and now you can see that.. it was created like a novelty item.. you know what i mean.. like "spencers" in the mall. Its all about adult gift cards and parlor tricks.. right?

Well, I am doing well on it.. I offerFacebook fans, I get 5-6 orders daily which is good not bad. I don't recommend buying from there tho' Just selling.
