So I have this aws account that have claude opus with 6M TPM and 10k RPM limit
I checked it yesterday and that was the limit and when I open the account again the RPM was only 50
did any one faced the same issue?
this made me in confusion with my client

aws has been silently nerfing limits on accounts lately man. it probably just showed you the default tier at first but then their risk system slapped you with the 50 limit once the account synced.

The problem is I just checked it this morning

do you think that when the client logged in that trigger their risk system?

if your client logged in from a totally different ip or geo location that almost certainly tripped the aws fraud filters.
they are super paranoid about account takeovers right now so any weird login activity just auto-tanks your quotas to the minimum to stop potential abuse.
just tell support your client accessed it and they should fix it.

They changed the payment style on claude i think. Its pay as you go, instead of credits now for api. Maybe this is a performance cap too?
