I’m curious to hear from forex traders who also work a 9–5 job. How do you manage your trading alongside your work schedule?

When do you usually trade, and what strategies or routines help you stay consistent without burning out?

Trading Forex or crypto can significantly affect your work. The most important thing you need to focus on is maintaining emotional balance rather than time management or you should consider choosing only one of the two.

Doesn't work well. For trading you need a fresh mind. How can you obtain that after a 9-5? If you also have to go/get back from work is more an 8-6. And if you add some losing Forex positions it's over..

Trying to balance that forex grind with a 9-5 means you gotta be strategic. Most cats peep the charts pre-market or after work, sticking to higher timeframes and swing trades so you ain't glued to the screen all day because that's how you avoid burnout

Hey man, good question. Trade when London and NY overlap (8am–12pm EST). That's when stuff moves.
Don't stare at charts all day. Check in the morning, maybe at lunch. Set limit orders at night if you can't watch.
Don't trade every day. Chill sometimes.

Main thing: slow and steady wins. Don't risk money you'd cry over losing.

When I was working a 9–5 job, I bought a Forex signal service for $200. I used part of my salary to trade the signals while I was learning. That helped me grow my account and gain experience. I'm no longer working a 9–5—I'm now a full-time trader. The signal group played a big role in helping me reach the point where I could confidently leave my job.
