Hi everyone, recently some of my clients have been experiencing a problem with their spending. Their daily budget is $20,000, but within just 10 hours of starting a campaign, that money is all spent. Has anyone else encountered this?

That sounds unusually fast for that budget. Have you checked if the campaign is set to maximize delivery or using automatic placements? Sometimes that can cause the budget to spend much quicker than expected, especially with broad targeting.

We set a campaign budget, and I asked some friends, who also said they were experiencing rapid spending, which is probably a Facebook error.

If the audience is large and bid is aggressive, Meta will spend quickly to gather data. It’s not a bug, it’s how the algorithm optimizes early delivery.

From my experience, you don't start ads early in the morning, you'll most likely waste your money.

Here's what I do, I set up my ads anytime of the day, but turn it off from the campaign level, this way the ads get approved but doesn't run.

Once it's 11:30-11:40PM, I turn on the campaign. Nothing significant runs before the new day, once it's 12AM, the ads reset and start afresh, that way you avoid wasting money to Facebooks greed algorithm.

It has worked for me 99.9% of the times.

but I chose a daily budget and 24-hour delivery.

We've been doing that for eight years; this issue has only recently emerged.
Have you checked the curreny or Billing statement?
We checked and asked Facebook support, but they only gave vague answers.

We have already set the campaign budget.

Hello buddy, Your budget is burning fast because platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager prioritize maximum delivery, spending aggressively early when traffic is highest.
We've only been experiencing this issue with Facebook accounts recently; Google accounts work fine.
This usually happens when campaigns have broad targeting and aggressive bidding, allowing the algorithm to spend the budget quickly. You can control it by using cost caps, narrowing audiences, or scheduling ads to spread delivery more evenly throughout the day.
Okay, I'll try your suggestion.

Yo, that's wild. Sounds like them bids are cranked way too high, or facebook's algorithm just straight up eating your money
