My competitors are running ads on Google and their creatives are giving them very good results. I could reuse them because it's not branded or anything. I have a site that is for the same project/trend.

So I'm wondering considering that I do cloaking anyway, can I use the same creatives? Or could it be detected?

This is a very bad idea. Nowadays you have so many AI tools to help you create similar creatives that are different so there's no way you need to use their creatives, even for performance purposes. Doesn't have anything to do with that. It could be detected that you're using other peoples creatives, yeah.

Ok because my friend told me he did it before and he didn't have issues.

Even if you are cloaking hard, straight up snatching their creatives is playing with fire. Google's bots might peep that identical-ish and still hit you with a flag

You can use competitors' creatives, I would just advise making them unique and there will be no problems.

Your cloaker only protects where the click goes, but Google's AI visually scans the actual ad file upon upload. If you just rip their exact image or video, the raw hash matching will flag your burner account instantly. Always strip the metadata and apply slight pixel alterations before reusing them.

I would never do that. Your creatives are not protected.

you should ask the AI give you detail description about their image.
and change some in detail related their brand to yours and ask AI to gen image based on that.
it's better way to get good result and avoid suspension!

Google might flag that pretty quick, just change them a bit

While those unbranded creatives seem like low-hanging fruit, google's algorithms are seriously good at spotting super similar stuff, so even with cloaking, you risk getting flagged for duplicated content or quality issues pretty fast

Even with cloaking, reusing competitor creatives can trigger similarity checks and manual reviews.
It’s safer to tweak angles, visuals, and wording instead of copying directly.

AI incorporated in Google Ads algorithms can easily trigger a circumventing systems, etc flag if you use the exact same creative as that of another advertiser. There are many free tools to create unique ad creatives.

Copying your competitors' creatives is a huge risk because google’s AI is super smart and will definitely flag your account for duplicate content. Just make your own unique ads to avoid getting banned so quickly

I also hearded that some people can cloak creatives to make Meta see a black image, while the real creative is visible for the end user.
I know it works, I experimented it on my side, but I don't have any idea of how it's done.

This won't bring you success now or in the future. You need to analyze what's special about their creatives and draw conclusions, conduct additional tests, and find "that one thing" that makes them successful.

But don't forget that, beyond creatives, targeting is also very important

If you are a developer, this is fairly straightfoward to implement, have the cloaker identify the acess, if it's a bot, display the "white" image, otherwise, display the offer image.

This is a easy catch for google if you have literally the same ads you will get catch fast. Try to use an ai tool to get something similar but unique ..... ask ai will create for you something similar but unique that is what i will do
