Best way to promote an online store

It depends on your product and budget, but a simple approach is to match the channel with your goal. Google Ads works best for reaching people who are already searching and ready to buy, making it ideal for quick sales.
Social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook are great for building awareness and driving impulse purchases through visuals and targeting. Influencer marketing is useful for building trust and reaching niche audiences, especially in lifestyle-based products. A good starting strategy is to test social media ads along with a few small influencers, then scale with Google Ads once you identify what products perform well.

Hey guys, I’m trying to promote my online store and not sure which advertising channel works best. Should I go with social media ads, Google ads, influencer marketing, or something else? Any suggestions or experiences would help.
Influencer marketing could help since not many people pay attention to ads.

what do you sell? Google ads would be what I'd be looking at.

If what youre selling has a keyword on google that has solid searches that should be a good sign for you to launch search ads

If you’re tryna get that bag quick, meta ads are usually the move for instant reach, but google’s where the real hitters go to catch people already looking to buy. Influencer plays can be fire for the hype, but honestly, you gotta mix and match to see what actually sticks in your niche before you go all in

The best way I could think of is to push the brand name via multiple personal brands.

It's easier than ever nowadays to spam with TikTok's exposure, even if you are working on this by yourself with AI. You could almost promote any type of service or product with the support of AI in this period and generating millions of views yearly if you have a good enough story to tell via social media without having to hire influencer.

And the best thing about it is that the videos that you have posted on these accounts, it will still get views consistently afterward.

Social media ads (Instagram, Facebook) are great for reaching a wide audience, especially for visually appealing products. Google Ads work well if people are already searching for what you’re selling. Influencer marketing can help boost credibility, especially if you find the right influencers for your niche. I’d recommend starting with social media and Google Ads to test what works best for your store.

It depends on the niche. I’d always go with Ads though

For me, the best way is using a mix of facebook and google ads, to bring quick traffic and content . ads help to bring quick traffic, and organic posts builds trust over time. I also focus good creatives because they matters more than just running ads.

Honestly, it depends on what you're selling. If people are already searching for your product, Google Search and Shopping are king. But if it’s an impulse buy or looks cool, TikTok and IG Reels are better. Right now, a mix of UGC and TikTok ads is killing it for most stores because it feels more "real" than a standard ad.

depends on what you selling bro, no one channel best for all. if product visual then social ads work good, if people already searching then google ads better. influencer also good but need right audience not random. i usually test 2–3 channel small budget then scale what working. also dont ignore email and retargeting, cheap and convert good.

I focus on niche communities and forum first, posting helpful content there and linking naturally brings interested traffic without spending much on ads.

I suggest start with facebook or google ads and mix it with some tiktok organic content, that combo worked best for me .

There’s no single “best” channel, it really comes down to your product and budget. If you’re just starting out, I’d suggest testing a couple of platforms instead of putting everything into one. Google Ads can work well for high-intent traffic, while social media ads are better for building awareness and testing creatives. Influencer marketing can also be useful, but it depends a lot on choosing the right creators. Start small, track your results, and scale whatever is actually bringing in sales.

Start with social media for reach, Google Ads for buyers, test influencers, track results closely, and scale whatever actually brings consistent sales.

Best combo in 2026 is social ads for discovery, Google for intent, and email for retention. Test one channel first, find what converts, then scale instead of spreading budget thin. Also build remarketing early, most sales come from people who didn’t buy the first time.
Start with one channel that fits your product, don’t try everything at once.

From my experience, a mix of paid ads (Google or Meta), SEO content, and retargeting works best relying on just one channel usually limits growth, so combining them gives more consistent traffic and sales.

I usually start with retargeting first. even small traffic, retargeting ads convert better. then I scale with cold Traffic once I know what is working.
