need help from people who doing WH Ecom from Morocco and their payment processing

I’m trying to connect with other Africans doing ecom, preferably someone from Morocco, but honestly anyone based in Africa who’s in the same space.

If you’re running a Shopify dropshipping store with Meta ads and targeting countries like the US, UK, Canada or Australia, I’d really appreciate your input.

My store is fully legit, everything is clean, and the ads are working. I genuinely feel like I can scale this properly.

The only thing I’m stuck on is payments.

For those of you using Shopify Payments:

-how did you set it up from Africa?
-where are you actually receiving your payouts?
-are you using a foreign company or bank account?
-and is buying a Stripe account even worth it, or just too risky long term?

I’m too scared of facing this problem , since there is no solution in my mind for it

If you’ve been through this, I’d really appreciate hearing how you handled it.

The most common workaround I've seen people use from Africa is registering a UK company (there are services like Companies Made Simple that do it for like ~£70), then opening a Wise Business account under that company. From there you connect Stripe to your Shopify using the UK registration and link your Wise account to receive the payouts. Wise then transfers to your local bank. The whole setup takes maybe 2-3 days.


As for buying a Stripe account, I'd avoid it long term, too risky and you can get banned if they notice the mismatch. The UK company route is cleaner and actually legit.


Wise Business alone without the company registration probably won't be enough to unlock Shopify Payments, you need the actual business entity to pass verification. But once that's done it works well from what I've seen. Worth looking into

You can get a UK LTD or US LLC to setup payment processors that you can use from Africa

You can use your foreign bank accounts to receive your payouts

You can use a foreign bank account and then withdraw to your local bank account

Renting is better except if you see a legit source for buying. It depends on your preference

Agree with both:
UK LTD or US LLC will work.

Foreign Bank will do, then create your own Stripe

NEVER BUY a Stripe account, unless you're into a shady business.

buying/renting stripe is ok only if u want to test for few days imo, not for real scaling. the moment you start doing volume they ask for docs, invoices, proof of address, tracking, sometimes bank statement... then account mismatch = hold or ban, and your cashflow dies.

cleanest route is still company + bank + stripe under same details. UK LTD is cheap but Wise business became annoying for some countries, so check before paying for setup. US LLC is more expensive but usually stronger for payment stuff, just don’t forget tax/reporting papers each year.

also make sure your Shopify legal pages, billing address, invoices, supplier docs, domain WHOIS if needed, all match the company. people focus only on “get stripe” but the real problem is surviving review after first scale.

Trying out Stripe. What amount do oyu think will get through without problem before them shutting it down?

You can register UK ltd or US llc for payment processor and access from your country, As for payout in Overseas bank it is possible after that you can get them in local account. and other option is renting a high risk it will save you form all the headache, rest is all up to you.
