somehow sent $400 in xmr by mistake


tells me send it back, keep $50 for urself, doesn’t even want the acc anymore


sent him full amount back anyway


then he still says he doesn’t want the acc

Sometimes people do this with stolen funds. Oftentimes, they provide a different recipient account/address when you're sending back.

Criminals do this a lot. Hope you sent back to the exact wallet that sent it to you.

I don't know much about the tech behind xmr, I just know it's a privacy focused crypto. If you sent to a different wallet address than the one he sent from, chances are you have been used to 'wash' his dirty money.
