What type of keywords work best for parasite SEO right now?

In our niche - iGaming: keywords connected to "best" , "top". Mostly everything related to list of services. Visibility of parasite websites also depend on country / region. Some countries like DACH region (DE, AT, CH) and USA are more susceptible to parasitic SEO (again in our niche)

Buyer intent + low comp is still the sweet spot, nothing changed there.
Stuff like “best X for Y”, “X vs Y”, “is X legit”, “X review”, and problem-based queries work best, especially mid-tail not super broad.
Also check SERP first, if you already see Reddit/Medium ranking, that’s your green light, if it’s all brands/shops you’ll struggle.

Commercial intent keywords are still the sweet spot for parasite SEO. "Best X", "X review", "X vs Y", "buy X online" — these convert and that's why people use parasites for them in the first place.
The thing that actually matters more than keyword type though is SERP real estate. Look for keywords where Google is already showing Reddit, Quora, Medium, Forbes in the top 10. That tells you Google is comfortable putting UGC and third party content there. If the SERP is all brand websites and e-commerce stores, a parasite is going to have a much harder time sticking.
Finance and crypto keywords still work well for parasites because the big platforms rank there naturally. Same with local service keywords — "best lawyer in X city" type stuff where Google trusts directory-style content.
Avoid anything too broad, parasite pages are thin by nature and broad keywords need real topical authority behind them.

Depending on the keyword, I also go after keywords where there are parasites but parasites that are not the ones I'm using. A parasite ranking on page 1 is a sign that your parasite could do some numbers on such keyword.

If we had to choose the "most important keyword type" for parasitic SEO today: Long-tail keywords + clear monetization content, for example, "how to make money with AI for beginners," "best free AI content writing tools." Why are they the most important when they easily rank highly on parasitic sites like Medium, Reddit, and Quora, which prioritize specific content, while Google prioritizes direct answers.
