Hey Guys, I've been researching affiliate marketing recently and noticed a lot of mixed opinions. Some people say it's still very profitable, while others says competition is much higher now.

For some starting in 2026, do you think affiliate marketing is still a good opportunity? What traffic sources are working best right now?

Affiliate marketing is still a strong opportunity in 2026 if you treat it like a real business focusing on niche authority and trust while the best performing traffic sources today include short form video tiktok reels seo content email lists and community platforms like reddit rather than relying on one channel alone

Standard SEO affiliate marketing is incredibly brutal for beginners right now because AI overviews and media giants monopolize the search results. If you are starting fresh in 2026, your highest ROI is absolutely building faceless organic traffic through TikTok or YouTube Shorts and funneling those views to your affiliate links.

You will need to put in a lot of effort if you are new to affiliate marketing. If you're just starting out in 2026, sending views to your affiliate link from your Facebook, Instagrams Reels, TikTok or YouTube Shorts is a terrific method to generate undiscovered organic traffic. Because AI overviews and media giants have monopolized search results.

My recommendation as an expert in this field, try to start from something, like join company (media buying or network), actually the direction is not that important. Once u mastered the basics and acknowledge everything about sales process, terminology and being confident in closing each partner from start to payment, u can try to open your own staff and do your own business

Affiliate marketing is still a solid model in 2026 (low cost, high upside), but it’s way more competitive and no longer “easy money.”
Focus on creator-style content (short videos, honest reviews) instead of spammy SEO or copied AI content.

I just joined the affiliate marketing business in 2026, and I'm currently facing a major headache because my ROI isn't positive, and it seems very difficult to achieve.

I'm using Facebook's paid traffic and the tracking system is Bemob. The process is already running smoothly.

However, the ROI is extremely poor. I'm wondering if 2026 is a good time for a newcomer to the affiliate marketing field?

But I still really want to achieve good results in affiliate marketing and build up my business.

I see affiliate marketing as still very promising for beginners like you, but the strategy has completely changed, it requires more acumen than in previous years. Instead of competing in mainstream areas, niche markets or new technology products are yielding breakthrough profits. In terms of traffic, short form video platforms like TikTok and Reels remain dominant thanks to their ability to automatically distribute content to the right target audience. In particular, combining parasitic SEO on high DR pages is an effective shortcut to quickly dominate search rankings.

Could you provide some guidance for us beginners?

I've been testing ClickDealer's CPL ads for the past month, but I'm finding it impossible to achieve a positive ROI, even after optimizing the CPC to below 0.2 in the US market.

I feel like my approach is flawed.

For beginners, what type of ads are suitable for Facebook?

I don't want to inflate my traffic; I just want legitimate traffic generation. What types of offers can achieve a positive ROI on Facebook?

Thank you.

That's an interesting perspective. Short-form platform like TikTok and YouTube shorts do seem to offer faster organic reach compared to traditional SEO right now. Do you think this works better for certain affiliate niches than others?

If to start from scratch - it's pretty complicated novadays. You have to choose vertical to starts - dating is one of the easiest but it's full of competitors and you need to have direct advertisers to have best performance - cpa networks as a middle man may cause faliure because they cut 20-30% of your profit

You have to work with twists. If you just follow conventional methods, there would be lot of competition .

All opportunities are good when you u know how to make it real. For affiliate you need to know what kind of it and how you promote

For example are you going to use websites, ads, spamming, or else

Still working, but old days of posting one wall of text and linking it to affiliate links are gone. You need to be smart, create a proper authority site to make money with affiliate marketing. Just search for "Best VPN facebook" look at the top sites, you will get the idea how affiliate marketing is working. Those sites not only get traffic from organic reach, they buy tons of social media traffic too.

Hello everyone,
I want to ask about the best way to get app downloads and still make profit.
The app pays about $0.30 for each download, and it works worldwide (except India). For example, 1,000 downloads = $300
From your experience, what are the best ways or traffic sources to get cheap downloads and scale this?
The app helps reduce ping in mobile games, so it’s for gamers.
I’m open to any ideas like free traffic, ads, influencers, or anything that works.
Thank you

That's a great example. Authority sites definitely seem to dominate affiliate SERPs now, especially in competitive niches like VPNs. Do you think beginners should still try SEO first, or focus more on social media traffic in the beginning?

Affiliate marketing is absolutely still worth it in 2026, but the "what traffic source" question is the key one — and I'd argue email is still the most underrated answer for beginners.

Here's why: social traffic (TikTok, Reels, etc.) is fast but fragile — the platform owns your audience. Email is the one channel where you actually own the relationship. A 10k subscriber list you built properly will outperform 100k social followers for affiliate conversions every time.

The real challenge for beginners used to be: how do you build a list from scratch with zero budget? That's where tools like ListLaunch (aiautopilotbiz.com) come in — it's a co-registration network built specifically for affiliate/email marketers that lets you grow a real, engaged list from day one instead of starting from zero. Think of it like Cliqly but designed to build a list you actually own and can mail whenever you want.

Once you have even a small list (500-1000 subs), promoting CPA/affiliate offers via email converts at 3-5x what cold paid traffic does. It's slower to start but compounds hard.

My 2026 stack: build list → nurture with value emails → promote affiliate offers to warm audience. Old school, but still prints.

Affiliate marketing isn’t going anywhere - it’s alive and kicking. Dating and gambling remain super stable verticals (no need to explain why)

Right now the top traffic sources are Tiktok, Insta, FB, Twitter, and basically any major social platform

That's true those verticals have always been very strong in affiliate marketing, Social media traffic also seems to be growing fast compared to traditional SEO. Do you think TikTok is currently the best platform for affiliate traffic?
