based on reports FCC is implementing a mandate that would reduce call traffic originating from outside of US and a whole lot of other laws. What do you think guys?

mafia doing mafia things, what a shock! (sarcasm, obviously)

It's one of the last breaths of the criminals that rule this world, oppose them as much as you can as it will all be history soon (soon can mean few years or 1-2 decades, I can't tell, but it's short term regardless, we just need to fight back while the enshitification of life intensifies and then goes back to normality)

yup, sad part of this is that there's going to be A LOT of businesses going close

yeah they have been trying to crack down on offshore spam calls for years with all the stir/shaken regulations but honestly it just means you need a better voip setup with legit us sip trunks. the big offshore call centers will just adapt and route their traffic through compliant us gateways while the low tier spam operators get filtered out, so outsourcing itself definitely isn't dying anytime soon.

They're proposing new "onshoring" rules that would prioritize American workers and standardise the quality of customer support for U.S. consumers.

I don't expect any real changes actually happen.
