If you are not from USA, very less chance they are going to take any action. Plus they are not going to come after you for automation stuff, unless it incur them huge loss in monetary value.

Simply reset everything and setup accounts and start again. Just be careful with your traces.

Because suing abroad is highly expensive and depends on local laws, the compensation recovered might not be worth it in the end. Mainly, they just want to stop the service permanently and make sure it never comes back.

I've had well over a dozen C&Ds, and the ones from them I do not ignore, the others are paper tigers.

Sounds like a serious situation. If you’ve already stopped everything and replied to the C&D, that’s the right first step.
At this point, the safest move is to fully comply and avoid anything related to Facebook/Meta tools in the future, especially automation that touches their platform.
Also, make sure you keep records of everything (emails, tools, code, etc.) in case they ask for proof later.
Since you’re not in the US, it’s less aggressive usually, but still not something to ignore. If things escalate, it might be worth talking to a legal professional just to be safe.
For now, I’d focus on moving to other platforms or building tools that don’t depend on restricted APIs.
