Are the earnings from MV Journey?

I would cut your costs. Pinclicks is not worth the money. Also Siteground is among the expensive hosting services, better check the hosting section on the forum to see what's good and affordable.

Yes the earnings are from MV Journey. They have 65 net payment and 100$ minimum payout so I haven't really gotten paid yet, and my first payment will be on May 5.

I have aleady paid for the hosting for the whole year, so I am going to keep it for now, but I will search for other hosting in the future, thanks for the advice.

I am testing Pinclicks for the time, and I am targeting low keywords to see if I can rank. Mostly it has helped me find content clusters ( like I choose a main keyword - and find smaller related keywords to create content and interlink all content between them.)

I will keep it for 1-2 months and see how it will go and then decide.

Nice update! There aren't many active Pinterest journeys on BHW from what I've seen, so I rarely come here as well. Good luck on achieving your goals.


Interesting... I find it invaluable when it comes to keyword research. It has the largest database of official interests out of any tool out there. The amount of keywords one can find is basically unlimited. Saves me so much time to just export everything to csv then feed that data to an LLM, so it can clean it up & cluster it.

pinterest traffic from ukraine to a greek audience or going international with it? that actually changes everything because when i tried scaling a pinterest account targeting only one country i hit a ceiling pretty fast, around 180k monthly views and the traffic just stopped growing no matter how many pins i scheduled. the 2k euro goal is totally doable but the niche you pick matters more than the pinning strategy itself, i did a home decor blog and cpc from display ads was so low it barely moved the needle even at decent traffic numbers.

No, my audience is only US. This is where the money is. My niche is home decor, and I am pretty happy with it, and my rpm is 19$ on average.

Which country did you target? Because I think only US traffic is worth it with this specific mondel.

Yes, when I signed up for siteground the first year was really cheap but after the first year it goes way up. I had also chatted with support, and discounted the price a bit, so I didn't pay full price, but still it is expensive.

There is no particular reason I went with siteground, mostly because it had good reviews and a lot of FB bloggers recommended it. As you go, it asks for more and more money haha, but I didn't have any problems with it. Also, the support is really good. But I think you can find better deals for hosting. I have already paid for the whole year, so for now I will remain with them.

The high cost that I payed motivated to make my money back asap.

Hello everyone! I created this journey thread in order to keep me accountable on this journey. My plan is growing a blog site and driving traffic through Pinterest and other traffic methods. I currently earn 700 euro per month as an employee in my country which is minimum wage. With 1k I will be comfortable, but with 2k I can also provide for my loved ones.

Background

I am F26, from Ukraine living in Greece. I have been into IM as long as I can remember. I started with sites like Neobux( PTC) , CPA, Fiverr, Instagram, dropshipping, affiliate marketing. I have tried it aaallll, but still nothing stuck. I earned some beer money here and there, but nothing serious. I gave up almost every project that I tried.

I spent hours and hours, lurking on BHW and other forums, reading methods, getting excited but not working on anything. Also living in a big tourist destination country, and seeing all the people having holidays, and you working all year round, it really takes a toll on you.

The idea

As I was scrolling through TikTok, a girl came up that claimed that she made 30k+ from her blog via driving traffic through Pinterest. She wasn't selling any course, or coaching lessons, just growing her brand. (Now she sells a course.) But she had her blog/ Pinterest account public so the numbers she claimed made sense.

I was soooo inspired. That was a lot of money. Even only 2k would be more than enough for me. Then, I thought that English is not my first language. But how hard can it be to write a blog post with the help of tools?

Execution

I started my blog on November and I told myself that I have a year to make any kind of money. I wrote some blog posts, posted some pins but I didn't give it my 100%. So, my traffic is low.

Money spent: 100$ (40$ domain and hosting, 60$ on 2 pinterest courses)

Pins uploaded: 25

My niche is very friendly for Pinterest. Most pins I uploaded months before so it makes sense to see a drop in traffic.

In this journey, I will try to flip a failing blog to generating 2k per month. Let's see!

Next steps:

- I will be focusing now on Pinterest and try to schedule 5 pins per day. I used to do 1 per day. I will test it out to see how much traffic will change.
- I will try to upload more articles on the blog so that I can create more pins.
- I will find keywords from Pinterest Trends, and test seasonal keywords to see if they will perform better.

This time, I have the mindset that "I have to make it work. No matter what."

Hello, first, good luck on your journey! Just wanted to warn you that it is not easy, and it is best to choose a niche you know/are interested in.

Older pins do bring traffic. I have noticed that half of my pins usually bring some mediocre traffic, and if a pin goes "viral" it will bring consistent traffic.

For example, these are the stats for a pin that I posted 4 months ago, and it is my best performing one.



It has brought 4k outbound clicks until now, and this particular post is my top 1#. ( I have also posted 9 more pins for the same article, some have done well, some don't.)

This article had, in these 180 days, a total of 6.3k visits. (So, 4k from one pin and 2k from the other 9 pins.)



Now, it is a steady pin that brings everyday traffic. By posting more and more pins, some will hit off and some won't. But, after having 100+ pins performing like this, the traffic will be somewhat stable.)

I also post seasonal content, which gives big spikes and big downs.
And I focus a lot on design (not AI crap), titles, keyword research, and every pin that I post; I try to make it have the potential of going viral.

It is just a numbers game. I have been posting consistently for 4 months now.

Firstly, thanks for sharing your journey, really motivating to read. You have already made a good start, especially being consistent now. I think increasing pins and articles will definitely help over time. I am just curious, are you creating fresh pins daily or also reusing designs with slight changes? And are you focusing more on seasonal keywords or evergreen ones right now?
