What to do when eBay ask for ID and address verification

My eBay account got banned and I am doing my best to learn about stealth accounts. I know there will come a time when eBay will ask me for the above information. What should I do when I cross that bridge?

From what I’ve seen, it’s really hard to get around those checks long term. In my experience, it’s better to focus on a clean, properly verified account rather than trying to bypass it.

I'm pretty sure the account that got banned was tied to my ID. I could start an LLC but I fear that would be tied to my identity as well. Do I have options for a clean long term verified account or will I have to stick to short term options?

eBay requiring identity verification for anonymous accounts is unavoidable. In this case, you can use information from a family member if the account was registered under someone's name, ask them to provide real identification for verification. This is the safest method or you should maintain multiple accounts simultaneously and have a backup plan instead of focusing on just one

You can appeal the suspension if that happens, but you’ll need matching documents for it to be considered.

Unfortunately those option aren't available to me at this time. So I'm guessing starting a new LLC with and providing an EIN would be out the question as well? Does anyone have any experience on this?

You could consider UK Stealth accounts. They still have the ability to sell worldwide.I am assuming you are in the US?

Honestly, i donot know why most ebay sellers still embark in such risky procedure. Creating multiple account with little or no knowledge on how to verify them.

fyi; The first step is to figure out how to get anonymous cc or bank account, virtual address and doc... before creating virtual ebay account.

Hi Finaltouch. Thank you for your reply. Would creating a new business entity be anon enough since everything would be under the business name, business bank account, different phone and sim, and ups postal address?

Yes I am in the US. I would have to look more into this. Do you recommend me creating a UK account on the UK ebay website?

You'd be better of purchasing from a reliable supplier nowadays. Creating a new account takes 60+ days and strategic approach.
If you do have the time though, go for it.

Why not proceed gradually with a private account?

Business account requires lot verification docunent(s) proof of taxation ...

I suggest you switch to a new device, different internet connection before creating a new account.

How old was the previous account? If possible i suggest taking further step's to resolve issue(s) associated with that account.
