I just got Cease and Desist Abuse of Meta

created facebook automated tools
and just got C&D from meta today
All my facebook account was disabled
and they just send C&D emails to all my belonged emails

I already stop all my services or website
Already agreed and replied to email.

Do you guys have any advice.?
Im not live in usa.

You don’t need to ever respond to a c&d especially if not in the USA, only if it escalates should you consider

If you already got a real C&D and replied, I would stop everything completely and not try to “fix” it yourself. At that point it is more legal than technical.Responding in this situation is completely pointless.

That is definitely a fake email (letter) and not from Facebook (Meta). "" Please respond to "me" """. the "me" there sounds suspicious and the overall wordings smell of an attempt to scam you, perhaps to hack your Facebook, Instagram accounts.

Sounds serious. Once Meta sends a C＆D, they're already watching closely. Were all your real FB accounts directly linked because of your tool, or was it just one that got flagged and the others got caught through association? I wonder how were you managing your multiple FB accounts

You can check on that and probably tweak your codes for a new service that follows their unending policies

I would question if this C&D is even real.
There's a well known scam where they send these out getting people started then hope they get the person
to do something dumb.

Is the email real it was sent from?

Its was real and sent from Perkins Coie
they sent to all emails that link to my facebook accounts

I also received the similar. Just ignore it, no need to worry.

I was worried because Facebook is registered company in my country,
my name and real identity also acknowledge by them

If you are not from USA, very less chance they are going to take any action. Plus they are not going to come after you for automation stuff, unless it incur them huge loss in monetary value.

Simply reset everything and setup accounts and start again. Just be careful with your traces.

Just relax and take a sip of Vodka and enjoy your morning.

• It was careless of me to use my personal Facebook account as the admin for my service page. I have actually been using a Facebook page and group for customer communication for the last four years since my business opened

• My service has run without any issues for over four years. Just last week, an unknown person started reporting my Cloudflare, and right after that, I received a Meta C&D notice. My Chrome extension is obfuscated to protect my business logic, but I was falsely reported for hijacking the tool and stealing users' cookies. The person who reported me never provided any proof, like HTTP debug logs or the encrypted data.

how is it "definitely a fake email" if they literally disabled all his accounts and send him this email? seems pretty real to me.

if there would be only this email and no action taken, i would agree with a scam, but not if you got the full package
