I am trying to understand mobile proxies payment.

If I pay for a 'pay as you go' package does that mean that i pay for ALL mobile proxies I use?

So for example, if I need 6 Mobile Proxies for my LinkedIn Accounts (x1 Mobile Proxy per account) then the GB data is a TOTAL of those accounts?

So, it's irrelevant if I have 2 SIM numbers or 200 SIM numbers, I pay for total usage?

Is that correct?

yes exactly. if you buy a pay per gb package from a provider, that data pool is shared across all the ports or IPs you generate. so if you have 6 linkedin accounts running on 6 different proxy ports from that provider, they all just drain from the same total gb balance. you don't pay per sim or per port in that specific model, you just pay for the total traffic passing through them. just watch out because linkedin can actually eat data pretty fast if you are loading a lot of feeds and images.

There are actually two different models. PAYG (Pay as you go) is usually for residential pools where you pay for GBs. But for sensitive platforms like LinkedIn, it's risky because those IPs are shared.

The second model is Dedicated Mobile Ports (SIM-based). You pay a monthly fee for the modem and you get unlimited data. For 6 accounts, you can actually use just 3 dedicated ports and rotate the IP via API link between sessions. It's much safer and usually cheaper in the long run. I'm a dev and I use this setup for my own automation projects, it works perfectly.

yes, you've got it right. the data is pooled across all your proxies with pay as you go. doesn't matter if you're running 6 or 60 - you pay for total GB used across all of them combined.

SIM count or number of ports won't change your bill. it's purely about how much data flows through. so if your 6 LinkedIn accounts use 2GB total in a month, that's what you pay for. not 2GB per proxy.
