With the current geopolitical instability, I’d rather wait for things to settle and return to a better condition than speculate.

Well, I thought it was too late a week ago when it was at 66k, and now look. Many said it would drop to 50k, that I should wait, and look... Nobody knows for sure if it's too late or not; that's always something you see later. Cryptocurrencies tend to move in cycles, so more than the year, what matters is where in the cycle you enter. If you decide to invest, it's usually better to do it little by little rather than all at once (it's the strategy that has worked best in the long run).

People are hesitating to buy crypto now since it has dropped a lot if you consider the all time high.
They will remember to buy again when we are reaching new highs and then with the slightest drop they will get afraid and sell on loss.
Don't be that guy if you want my opinion. You can slowly DCA into crypto mostly BTC for now.

I invest in 2 coins, bitcoin and solana. bitcoin because it's bitcoin. solana because i think its ecosystem will grow as they are in entertainment ecosystem

Why too late ? We are at the bottoms currently. I think it can be a year for crypto yes, but maybe 2026 will be a year of congestion. Charts is going this way for the moment. I will be very surprised to see crypto bullrun in one month. Otherwise, congestion is a good time to buy bit by bit. In this way its the time to keep an eye on it.

As with all investments never put money you cannot afford to loose. I believe it's ideal to invest right now because alt coins and Bitcoin are available at low prices.
