Facebook traffic, what verticals and models to run?

Hello all,

For context, I have tested affiliate marketing last year on ecommerce with Google Search high intent in the US. I only tested a couple of products, one dipped and the other broke even. It was a nice initiation for me tbh.
I learned Meta ads, I tested some COD in GCC and while the CPA was good, the confirmation rates were horrible... Turning my head now to tier1.

I am wondering what kind of verticals are performing best with Meta and Google Search? I am interested in whitehat, I am too new to be messing with that cloaking and adaccount closing stuff.
Not asking for any of your specific offers or affiliate network clients, just wondering what vertical you experienced people judge it smart to allocate my knowledge and budget of Google Search + Meta Ads traffic?

3. Strategies for Sustainable Traffic:
Diverse Content: Photos, short videos, stories, minigames, quotes.

Interactive Content: Surveys, Q&A posts, sharing helpful tips.

Remarketing: Retarget people who have previously visited your website or watched your videos.

If you want whitehat with Meta and Google Search, Forex and trading lead generation still performs well in tier1 if you work with regulated brokers.
Google Search works great because of high intent keywords like trading, investing, or Forex platforms. Meta can work for lead generation with proper compliance.
But I'd rather still focus on forex direction because payouts per qualified lead are much higher than most other verticals.

Ran FB traffic to sweepstakes and finance offers last quarter in tier1 and the biggest thing I noticed was creative fatigue hits way faster than on Google. I was cycling 4-5 ad sets every 3 days just to keep CPA under $28. Thank you so much for sharing your experience @caffeineCPA I heard elsewhere also that home improvement and finance verticals on CPL/CPS/CPA are good for Meta and Search of traffic. If I may ask, do you use listicle prelanders to warm up the users or straight to the landing page/prelander given by the network?

For high-intent Google Search, focusing on lead generation in problem-solving niches like home services or finance is a great move. On Meta, lifestyle-driven verticals like health and EdTech are performing well, as they offer a much more sustainable path for whitehat traffic without the constant risk of account bans.

Lead gen works best for meta now. Local services and simple funnels convert better than ecommerce. Keep offers clear and not too many steps.

If it were me, I'd focus on "clean" niches like personal finance, SaaS, education, or basic health products — because they have real demand and are easy to run long-term. These niches are especially good with Google (high content), and ads are less likely to get penalized if the content is clear.
I would avoid COD or sensitive offers right now, as they're easy to get banned and difficult to scale.
In short: slow and steady wins the race, choosing a clean niche is still the safest approach.
