Earlier there was lot of hype when bitcoin used to reach targets like 50k and so on. Currently , it is performing very good at times when other investment options are giving negative returns. Why is this not being covered in TV news now ?

Crypto is old news to mainstream media now, they only cover it when there's a crash or a new ATH worth sensationalizing. The real money moved in quietly this cycle without needing the retail hype.

Crypto is just another asset class now. Its getting older. Plus Crude Oil is big thing right now. My friend in India printed like $50000+ by investing only $5000 in crude options, he is a crypto guy. So nobody is doing crypto thing right now.

As it was told BTC is not interesting right now. Oil is the one we all should keep an eye on it. Oil pumps also have a lot of impact on everybody as it makes gasoil prices very expensive and people are looking tv to have news about it. They need prices going down.

People got tired of scams and 2026 is a bear market year, we need a reset

Because to many negative scam reports in crypto space and people are more careful, looking for something safer.

Oil crisis will coming. For those who doesn't embrace EV will stuck working from home. That's the time when AI usage skyrocket, kinda like 2021 zoom era. At the same time people would flood into crypto again.

Is been mentioned but currently there are other things more current than it is now.

Can you stick to topic please ? How is this all related to decline in crypto ?

I believe that the media want to share news about BTC or crypto in general only when it hits ATH or when it is dropping by hugely amounts in a day / week.
I can't count the times i have read "Bitcoin is dead!" the past 10 years and still i believe we will see new all time highs the upcoming years.
Media likes to spread FUD when things go down and spread positivity when things go well, which should be the oposite when investing imo.

Have you looked at the news? There's war everywhere. Now is the time where the news cover the war efforts of Iran, Israel and the US.
Because WW3 is starting, and there are bigger stories out there.
Agreed.

Pricing cools down, so does hype. This is a definite buy signal though, since when everyone and their uncle are taking about crypto usually means that the top is near.

Because its accumulation phase and not distribution phase.
In accumulation phase institutions wants retail to sell cheap therefor no positive news

They don't talk about crypto like before because steady wins ain't drama enough for tv news. They only care when it's mooning outta nowhere or crashing hard, not just making paper steady

Everyone is focused on energy because of the recent events

The fact that Bitcoin maintains its strong performance but receives little attention on traditional television, in my opinion, may be due to the fact that crypto investors are now primarily focused on Twitter, YouTube and specialized platforms. Therefore, television stations feel it's unnecessary to prioritize this content when their audience is different.

The reality is that steady growth and 'building' aren't flashy enough for the 6 o'clock news. Right now, most of us in Web3 are quietly developing infrastructure and waiting for the right moment to onboard the next wave of users.

Mainstream media only cares about two things: massive crashes or 'overnight' millionaires. When the market is in this accumulation/building phase, it's boring to them. Plus, with the global headlines right now, crypto has to fight for airtime.

On the bright side - even if crypto isn't 'mooning' in the headlines today, the Artemis II crew actually is! They just launched yesterday, so at least someone is heading to the moon this week.
