Hi everyone,
I've been working with Facebook Ads for a while, mainly for online businesses. Recently I feel like things are getting harder — higher costs, more account issues, and stricter policies.

I'm curious how others are dealing with this in 2026.
Are you still getting good results with Facebook Ads, or have you shifted to other platforms?

Would love to hear your experiences.

Advertising on Facebook is no longer as profitable as it used to be. Rising costs, declining reach, and unstable ad accounts are some of the real challenges today.

I think Facebook Ads can still be profitable in 2026 for small marketers, but it’s definitely harder than it used to be. Costs are higher and the competition is much stronger now.
What seems to matter most today is good creatives and a solid funnel. Even small budgets can still work if the offer and targeting are right.

It’s still profitable, but costs are higher and accounts are stricter, so the margin is tighter.

Most small marketers who still make it work focus on good creatives and strong offers.

Of course it’s harder. But that’s also what filters advertisers. You’ve been doing this for a long time, so you should be better at handling it.

Yes, it’s definitely getting harder. Costs are higher and policies are stricter. Those who make a lot of money are the ones who solve difficult problems, so keep trying! Good luck!

The Facebook platform is still working well with many types of products.
You also need to regularly update user preferences to change your campaigns to suit the criteria and tastes of buyers. This way, your advertising costs will not be too high.

Instead of relying on just one account, many advertisers are using a stable Business Manager (BM) system + backup accounts + continuous creative testing to reduce risk and keep costs stable.

If set up correctly from the start (BM, pixel, domain, warm-up), Facebook remains one of the best ROI channels for e-commerce and lead generation.

FB is definitely harder now, but it still converts if your creatives are top-tier. The days of throwing up a basic image ad and printing money are over.

Facebook Ads still works well for many businesses, but in 2026 the popular strategy will be strong creative + automation + multi-platform instead of relying on just one channel.

Facebook ads only change their algorithm, which creates a lot of new things. Those who don't adapt and learn will fall behind. Large businesses have teams that learn content every day and night, and that brings quite good results.

From what I’ve seen, Facebook Ads can still be profitable in 2026, but the environment is definitely more competitive than it was a few years ago.

CPMs have increased in many niches mainly because more advertisers are entering the same auction. At the same time, Facebook’s review systems and policies have become stricter, which also makes things harder for beginners.

However, the platform still has massive traffic and strong targeting. Advertisers who focus on testing multiple creatives, improving their funnel, and scaling gradually are still getting good results.

In my experience the biggest difference today is that success depends more on creative testing and offer quality than just setting up ads and expecting quick results.

Yes, Facebook Ads is getting harder and can still work, it feels like it requires more patience now than before.

It's definitely still profitable, but the strategy has shifted 180 degrees since 2024. For small marketers, the 'Interest-based' targeting is almost dead; now it's all about letting Meta’s Broad targeting find your audience through high-quality video hooks. If your creative is weak, Facebook will just burn your budget. Are you finding that Advantage+ campaigns are giving you better ROAS than manual setups, or are you still sticking to the old-school granular targeting?

Facebook ads will still be profitable for small marketers in 2026, but will require a strategic shift toward high personalization, leveraging AI and short video content.

Facebook advertising has definitely become more challenging, but it can still perform well if your creatives are strong and engaging. The simple approach of running basic image ads without much testing or strategy doesn’t work as easily anymore, so focusing on quality content and optimization is much more important now.

Yes facebook ads are still profitable, but the strategy has changed, ai is doing the heavy lifting success now relies on using meta's AI tools rather than highly specific, manual targeting

Facebook will still be profitable for small marketers in 2026, but the way to operate to achieve good results has changed quite a bit.
