Hi BHW community,

I’m running a small website related to free TV streaming and I’m trying to figure out the best traffic sources.

Right now I’m testing forums, Reddit and SEO content.

Example of the site:
https://freetvzone.com

What traffic sources worked best for you for entertainment or streaming websites?

SEO, social traffic, or paid ads?

For sites like yours, I’d focus on building a strong SEO base first, it tends to bring consistent traffic over time. Social platforms and niche forums can give quick bursts, but make sure everything you do stays safe and above board.

For streaming/entertainment sites SEO usually works best long term.

Target keywords like “watch [channel name] online” or “live TV streaming” and publish pages for different channels. Reddit can bring some traffic too if you share in the right communities.

Forums can help a bit, but SEO + Reddit tends to work better for this niche in my experience.

For entertainment or streaming websites, SEO and social platforms are usually the most effective traffic sources. SEO can generate steady, long term visitors from search engines like Google, while communities on Reddit can bring quick spikes of highly targeted traffic. Paid advertising is often limited for streaming related sites because many ad networks have strict policies.

For streaming sites, SEO and Reddit/social communities usually bring the most consistent traffic. Ranking for specific show or channel queries can work well, while paid ads are often tricky due to policy restrictions.

Imo, SEO usually works best for streaming sites, especially targeting “watch + channel name” keywords.

Reddit and forums can send some traffic too if the post fits the discussion.

Paid ads are harder because many ad networks restrict streaming sites.

SEO is the best long-term bet for streaming sites, but competition is massive for high-volume keywords. Reddit can bring instant traffic if you find the right subreddits, but they are very strict about links. For this niche, focus on long-tail keywords related to specific shows or channels to get faster rankings without competing with the giants.
