Hello, I bought this book because the author stated in the description that it contained suppliers of games at good and competitive prices. However, when I bought the book, I didn't find the suppliers I expected. I only found Russian websites selling games randomly.

They show you a picture of a game, for example, Call of Duty 6, but when you buy it, you don't get that game. Instead, you get a very cheap, worthless game that isn't in demand. There are also some other websites that sell game accounts for offline play, not online play, and these accounts are also not in demand. Therefore, this book was of no use to me at all. I would like my money back, please.
Thank you.

Please detail exactly how you have tried to resolve your issue before now.
I contacted the seller to resolve the dispute, but he refuses to refund the money.

What kind of outcome are you looking for from this Dispute?

The ebook was successfully delivered in proper time, the refund policy states that refunds are applicable if you do not receive the ebook in up to 72h. But, let's address the real issue, since the BST refund policy is not being taken into consideration, otherwise this dispute wouldn't even be accepted.

The member received access to the whole ebook, 50 pages, I'm not selling a 1-page''supplier list'' or anything like that, it's just part of the ebook that addresses several other subjects, not only a supplier list. So, if he has something to ask for, it would be a partial refund, not even close to a full refund.

If we start dealing ebooks like that, everyone can start creating disputes on BHW saying ''Hey, now that i downloaded the file, have full access to it, can I have a refund? I bought because of 2 pages that didn't fit my unrealistic expectations.'' - That's why ebooks are treated as final sales everywhere, now you have full access to the whole book and its information, not only the supplier list, which is just one of several chapters of this book. Or can we start creating disputes because ''this book was of no use to me at all''? It's too easy to say that after downloading it, there is nothing to lose from the buyer perspective.

He just asked me refund via DM based on his dissatisfaction about the supplier list. There was no mention about it, so I'm discovering this issue right now. I'd appreciate any kind of proof that he really tried to proceed with a purchase on any of those suppliers, since I wasn't even aware of this. Saying that ''offline games''do not have demand shouldn't even be in discussion here, there are tons of sellers in several marketplaces selling them with tens/hundreds of sales. There are thousands of games and many of them have offline players, just do not stick with COD6, do not be dependent on a specific game.

Anyway, I tried to avoid this customer as much as possible, since the beginning he tried to move the conversation to Telegram or contacting me outside BHW, he bought without sending me any message, if I knew it was him, I would have rejected the purchase, it was clearly troublesome, since February 10th he was on my BST flooding, asking for promo codes and making complains even before buying, I reported one of those messages and mods deleted. But now, he has access to my ebook, it doesn't feel coherent to issue a full refund to someone who bought a 50-page ebook exclusively due to a supplier list, created unrealistic expectations thinking that it would be a magical supplier list with COD6 available for $2 - based on his ideas, because prices are competitive, not magical, and I do not instigate it on my BST description.

@Spicy Chromosomes Thanks for that detailed and fast response.

@digibyabd, your response please.
Hi
The author states in the description that the book contains a list of suppliers with good prices, and for the record, I know all these Russian websites that sell these games that no one cares about.

Regarding the Russian websites mentioned in the book, the prices are very tempting. For example, you can find GTA V for $4, but the truth is they tell you that when you buy it, they don't guarantee you'll get that exact game; you might get a different one altogether. This is actually a scam. Regarding the Russian websites mentioned in the book, the prices are very tempting. This is not good for those who want to work and make a profit; there is a huge contradiction.

Before buying the book, I asked the seller if he could give me an idea of the suppliers' prices; if they were good, I would buy the book, but he didn't answer.

I've been in this field for over four years, buying and selling game keys, and the hardest thing in this field is finding a supplier with good prices.

I sell on the kinguin.net platform, and this platform does not accept this type of game account for offline play.

The seller claimed I tried to move the conversation to Telegram, but I absolutely did not do that.

I simply asked him how I could contact him so he could answer my questions before I bought.

I did not file any complaints about the seller before purchasing; this is incorrect.

thank you

No, but you repeatedly badgered the seller on their sales thread asking for promo codes and discounts.

@digibyabd From my perspective, I'm not seeing much that the seller has done wrong here. You haven't shown me any evidence that says anything more than you purchasing a product and just not being impressed with it. Which is your right, of course, as it's also your right to leave one review of it on this forum.

But beyond evidence of purchase, you haven't presented any other evidence - and most especially any that suggests @Spicy Chromosomes has actually scammed you. You're going to have to do that because this is extremely thin so far.

The book's description sounds very enticing, but the information inside doesn't match the description. I hope you understand what I mean.
The most important thing in the game key trade is finding suppliers with good prices; that's the hard part.
But the author of the book says that the book contains suppliers with good prices, but it proves to me the exact opposite.
I hope you understand me

Hi
The author states in the description that the book contains a list of suppliers with good prices, and for the record, I know all these Russian websites that sell these games that no one cares about.
Yes, it's stated in the description and it has a list of suppliers, which represents a part of the ebook, less than 5% of its content, that were considered useful enough by all the previous buyers. You have all the right to think that my list of suppliers is not good enough for your standards, since you are an experienced seller, but it was good enough for most buyers.

Regarding the Russian websites mentioned in the book, the prices are very tempting. For example, you can find GTA V for $4, but the truth is they tell you that when you buy it, they don't guarantee you'll get that exact game; you might get a different one altogether. You will get the exact game, you just need to carefully read the description, some of them are selling CIS keys that only works for Russia and other nearby countries, others are selling offline keys, which may not be suitable for some marketplaces, but are totally valid for others...and other sellers are selling the global keys that you are probably looking for. There is a demand for all of them. I can't see how this is a scam.

Before buying the book, I asked the seller if he could give me an idea of the suppliers' prices; if they were good, I would buy the book, but he didn't answer.
Yes, that's correct, I didn't answer because I felt you would be a troublesome customer based on your behavior, unfortunately I was right and you proceeded with the purchase.

I've been in this field for over four years, buying and selling game keys, and the hardest thing in this field is finding a supplier with good prices.

You have the right to leave me a negative review as you did. You have the right to say that my list of suppliers sucks, but this is not a scam, you received the product on time, you have full access to my entire ebook, which is not just about suppliers.

I can understand that you are an experienced seller, you probably didn't learn much from it, since it was focused on beginners or people with intermediate knowledge, not experts with 4 years of previous experience, but this does not mean you were scammed, it also doesn't mean that I made false promises, the prices of my suppliers are competitive, but they are not magic or unbeatable, and I didn't mention on my description that they are ''the best'', ''the cheapest'' or other words that would result in a BST rejection. Sorry, it seems you just created too high expectations and I shouldn't be responsible for it.

@digibyabd My opinion is that you've bought a product, it hasn't delivered quite what you were expecting and you've thought that you will try and get a refund by going down the dispute route.

Unless you can provide any evidence that the product you received is demonstrably different to that which @Spicy Chromosomes has delivered then I will be closing this dispute and finding in the seller's favour.

@digibyabd As you're online and have not responded to this thread, I'm going to assume you have nothing else to add. I will close this dispute at 18:00 (London time) today if you have nothing else to present.

Dispute Summary

This dispute has been found in favour of the accused due to a lack of evidence presented by the accuser.

The dispute thread will remain live but locked. The accused may now trade as usual.
